Why doesn't the WWE make an episode of WWE Velocity before Smackdown PPV's?

They could just move Heat to Saturday Night when there is a Smackdown PPV like Judgement Day and air Velocity right before the PPV.

Wouldn't that help the buyrate of Smackdown PPVs?

Since it's basically Heat's timeslot, it may as well be heat.

I don't care who wrestles on Heat. Its still Heat. Maybe the buyrates for Smackdown PPV's are bad because people think the PPV's are going to be bad, so they don't buy them. If you haven't watched Smackdown (or think its crap) the little hour before the PPV isn't going to change your mind as to whether or not you are going to get it. You're going to know in advance whehter or not you are going to get them. They could call it Vince McMahon's PPV Pre Game Show and it wouldn't help buyrates. I mean, like myself. I only buy RAW PPV's and the big 4 (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series). I didn't buy the Royal Rumble this year because I thought that the DVD would have the commercial. I was wrong. The DVD extras sucked. But (as Tazz would say) I'm a RAW guy. It has been a part of my life for the last 10 years I would say (didn't get the first few years, didn't have a VCR, and back then I had a bedtime of 9. Hey, I was like 7) so I know every Monday at 9 is RAW. With Smackdown, for the longest time my cable provider got horrible reception for Smackdown, so I just sort of forgot about it. I also think being on a second rate network like UPN hurts too.

I saw La Resistance vs. Hurricane and Rosey before Survivor Series. I think it was a tag match. Ah hell, I can't remember. All I know is that when I went to RAW back in July, I saw the same match.
