I think there both great and will play a big role in the future of the WWE. As to say which one is better, I would say Randy for right now, he has already been IC Champion for 5 or 6 months and is now going for for his 2nd shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista on the other hand hasn't even won the IC Championship belt yet, the only gold he held was the Tag Team Championship, so Batista is way behind Orton right now. I think when Batista wins the IC Championship, Orton will have already been World Champion. In 8 years from now I would say Orton would of accomplished more in his career than Batista would.

atista will be like just another big man. Getting squash voctories, but never in the Main Event. Orton imo is the new Rock. His in-ring skills have improved drastically, and his mic skills and charisma have improved alot too. Evolution was probably the wisest desicion WWE made in a while. I don't think Orton would be this far up if it wasn't for Evolution.

Well if Orton keeps getting the Brock Lesnar push he will have no reason to be around in eight years... So Batista will be better.

Doesnt mean it will play out that way for Orton. I dont think they pushed him as hard as they did Lesnar either. Orton and Batista are the future. I just think Batista is a few steps below on the ladder compared to Randy Orton.

Batista is made out to be Super human but of course Randy Orton still out-ranks him on the large scale because he can talk on the mic, he can get crowd heat and he is mroe suited to Main Event matches rather then 3 minute squashes.

My head hurts from having to reprint this over and over again...

Ortons heat on the mic... comes from one outlet... Any mention of a "name" Not through any heat he ahs built up. Not because the crowd hates him or likes him. Because he mentions a big name and the crowd pops negatively or positively depending on the light with which Orton speaks about the name.

He can get crowd heat??? What judging on his last month of reaction from the crowd during his matches??? Maybe he is suited to the main event. But giving him a world title this early in his wrestling years... is just going to dull the man on wrestling. Rock did it. Brock did it. Plenty have done it in the past when you push them too fast. What makes you think Orton will be any different? Once ONE movie company comes knocking at his door. It will be bye bye Orton...

Lesner won the Last King Of The Ring and it was a cake-walk to him, He kicked out of a stiff Big boot in the first Round and a Five Star Frog Splash in the finals, He was made out to be an unstoppable monster, He was made out to be unbeatable and what the hell was there left for him to do afterwards, nothing. Now Randy Orton isn't exactly made out to be Super Human like Lesner but he won't leave straight out of the blue like Lesner, He'll have heaps of People to fued with, just because he wins his FIRST Major Title shot at Summerslam doesn't mean he'll be gone in 5 years, The writters will write him into more fueds. He's not gonna be like Lesner....

Plus Lesner Didn't even get any Warm-Up Belts before hand, No Hardcore Belt, No Inercontinetal Run, Not even a Tag Team belt, just straight to the top. That's also another small reason contributing to his mega push, He wasn't readu and comfortable with it until it was 4 months before he'd leave.

Please... Before Lesnar actually left, what indication was there in him actually leaving. And it was all because he had been given the world in five seconds flat. The same has practically happened to Orton. Of the last fifteen years How many wrestlers have went to the top off one or less IC title reigns and stayed around long term?

And if you even think about comparing Kurt Angle to Randy Orton your fucking kidding yourself.

How? He's been in the WWE for a little over 2 years, and he doesn't have the belt yet. Lesnar and Orton came into the company around the same time, and Orton in that span has held the IC Title for 7 months and that's it. Lesnar received the belt in 3 months and has already left. How is Orton receiveing a Brock Lesnar push? I do hope he wins the Title by Mania, but right now is a little early.

Compairing Orton to Angle, Kurt did something before he was World Champion unlike Lesner, European Champion, Intercontinental Champion, King of the RIng and THEN World Champion. Lesner didn't deserve any type of shit he got, Lesner was just like Batista at the time but look how the WWE is handling Batista, Quite nicely, Not over-pushing but still making him look quite the threat.

He's right about that too....

Orton's psuh shouldn't end around here but he should at least get some sort of Title Region sometime next year.

The man is in his second year of wrestling on live TV... second fucking year. Dont know how many times i have to say this... SECOND YEAR. The only person who has had that sort of push that quick... was Kurt Angle... and i will bend over and take it up the ass if Orton is even half the wrestler/entertainer/athlete... and anything else you want to compare them on.

Orton being pushed to a world title is fucking embarrassingly short sighted. Hes had ONE IC title reign. ONE... and all of a sudden hes ready for the main event. He got a few cheers. And that seems to be the thing within WWe lately. Anyone gets a reaction in the midcard... Throw them into the main event. This has already backfired twice. The Rock is doing movies while he hasnt even wrestled for 5 years fulltime... Brock took just under two years to have a third title reign... WWe championship... Orton in his second year will have went from IC champion to world title in a month... He wont last 12 months after his first title reign if he gets the belt before WM 22.

And Dante i think i pretty much answered your post in this one...

In terms of ring work, they are equal. Both aren't overly impressive but strides have been made for both men.

In terms of crowd reaction, it's Orton.

10 years from now Orton will be on top for the sheer fact that WWE managment loves him.
