Default Proof that Goldberg is a big draw

This study covers a four month period from May through 10/6

It is, I think a somewhat difinitive way of showing who draws ratings, and who does not.

The number following the guys name is the number of viewers added during there segments over the previous segment, or in some cases, the number lost.

For example. despite being treated like a midcard jobber for the whole of this 4 month period, Chris Benoit adds 311,260 viewers. In contrast, on Raw, RVD being positioned very much the same as Benoit only adds 53,360 viewers. On the flip side, Undertaker is positioned as a top guy and always gets a bigger pop, but is currently only adding 226,500 viewers per appearance, proving, much like with Hogan in the past, superstar pop doesn't always equal business.

The first number is the total number of viewers gained or lost during the 4 months of the study, and the second number is the average per segment. They are listen in alphabetical order in the article, and I don't really have to time to sort them any other way.

A main event performer should have an average of about +260,000 on Raw and +290,000 on Smackdown which would equal approx 0.2 rating points. A number above +400,000 on Raw and +440,000 on Smackdown should be considered a major ratings draw.

You're quoting Benoitmark?

If You're going to quote him...Quote the post saying it depends on who's the in the Segment, with the guy drawing. So in retrospect Jericho, Rock, and Triple H is the reason he has them numbers.

Mark Henry, Rodney Mack, and christian numbers aren't High...So he's not a draw. It's all about who he's paired with.

Some very disturbing numbers --

Zach Gowen +7,269,000 +484,600
Vince McMahon +11,263,000 +625,720 (no wonder he keeps himself on air so much)

Dudleys -412,000 -37,450 (I assume theirs is low because they're always VSing La Resistance)
La Resistance -745,000 -41,390
Garrison Cade -163,000 -27,170
Mark Jindrak -1,091,000 -181,830 (seems people REALLY dislike the Raw tag teams)

Booker T -424,000 -70,670 (surprising because he gets some of the biggest pops every show)

Nidia -444,000 -111,000
Torrie Wilson -284,000 -56,800
Molly Holly +46,000 +5,110
Gail Kim +1,413,000 +235,500
Trish Stratus -965,000 -96,500 (seems that overall people don't like the women.

Interesting post Rock....
