Considering that the WWE is an all year round faction and does not work in seasons we have the ability to make our minds up about the progression of the company halfway through the year. So from the start of January 2003 till the end of June what would you say has been the best aspects of the company?
Much like the Raw 10th Anniversary show there should be categories to choose from. Best Pay Per View: Best Fued: Best all round male perormer: Best all round female performer: Funniest moment: Most improved superstar: Best newcomer: Best Tag Team: Most Valuable Player: Best future prospect: What would your picks be and why?

Best PPV- Wrestlemania, simply because of the fact that it is Wrestlemania
Best Fued- Brock Lesnar/ Kurt Angle Best All-Around Male Performer- Chris Jericho Best All-Around Female Performer- Hard to say since they all do the same shit....probably Stacey cuz she's got a new boyfriend or whateva (and she's the hottset) Funniest Moment- Eric Bishoff getting chokeslammed off the stage. I was cracking up at that. Most improved superstar- Spanky Best New Commer- La Resistance Best Tag Team- the Dudley Boyz Most Valuable PLayer- can't say really, so many candidates....i'll say Stone Cold Steve Austin Best Future Prospect- Sean O'Haire or Spanky. Maybe even Garrisan whats his name

Best Pay Per View: Wrestlemania
Best Fued: Brock/Kurt Best all round male perormer: Eddie Guerrero/Chris Jericho, toss up between the 2. Both of them should be moved up to main event status. Best all round female performer: Ivory, beat Jazz 3 times in a row. That's pretty impressive. Funniest moment: Bischoff chokeslammed off the stage. Most improved superstar: John Cena, he's gotten a better and proves that he's a legit World Title contender. Best newcomer: Spanky, he wrestles more and is impressive. Best Tag Team: Dudley Boys, best tag team you got. Most Valuable Player: Stone Cold Steve Austin, the man what else is there to say. Best future prospect: Sean O'Haire-I could see him as a World Title contender if not fucked with real bad. |

Best PPV: Wrestlemania, but SummerSlam could top it with a real threat to HHH and a healthier Angle.
Best Feud: Y2J / HBK (I don't feel like Angle and Lesnar have really been "feuding" until now. Besides, HBK & Y2J put on two quality matches. Best Male: Eddie Guerrero - he can wrestle and he's hilarious, and his matches are very interesting. Best Female: Trish - she was rolling until recently. Funniest Moment: Every time Rock says "Bitch". Most Improved: Benjamin / Haas - they've been in there with the best and have been looking pretty good. Best Newcomer: Garrison Cade - He's green, but he'll be good. Best Tag Team: Benjamin / Haas. MVP: Eddie Guerrero, he's simply been the most entertaining so far this year. Best Prospect: Orton / Cena / O'Haire / Benjamin / Haas. It's nice to have a number of young guns to choose from! |

Best Pay Per View:
No Way Out Best Fued: Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit I think anytime we get to see these two in the ring together it's a great spectacle to watch. You can tell that both men go all out with their techincal abilities and never fail to put on really great performance. I was really hopeful that in January when Chris Benoit was number one contender for Kurt's title that the WWE would finally deliver the goods and give him the belt but this was not the case.Regardless of that though I think the build up was handled perfectly, the basic premise looked like it was trying to create the impression that Benoit had seriously upped his game since the last time Angle and Benoit locked horns at Unforgiven 2002. I think that it is always a good sign for the organization when the fans can get really into a tech mat based match and to me these matches deliver if not more drama than a match between two of the top characters over wrestling performers. I didn't really like knowing that Benoit was not going to get a title run but the match at the Royal Rumble more than made up for it, not too heavy on character work but the build up was executed just right for that time and made for one of my favorite feuds ever. Best all round male performer: Kurt Angle In my opinion Kurt Angle is the one WWE superstar that at least right now the company could not afford to lose. He is consistent all year round with his mat work and character work, I would say it is very rare when a talent can blend all aspects of his profession so well together. Although I believe Benoit is a superior technical wrestler Kurt Angle would surpass him if it came down to overall ability. All his matches are interesting to watch because no matter who he is facing he can seemingly adapt to their style with next to no trouble at all. He has the uncanny ability to make every opponent look good in the ring, even if he is not making it a point to make them look over domineering he still manages to create that impression while at the same time keep his own credibility in tact. Add to that his character skills and you have a truly well rounded performer who deserves to be where he is today. Best all round female performer: Victoria I will say no more than that on this matter lol. Funniest moment: Jim Ross being set on fire by Kane ![]() Most improved superstar: Randy Orton While I am not a fan of Evolution I will acknowledge that Randy Orton has come a long way in a short space of time. On a level of character development more so than his in ring work, I was never very keen on him as a good guy but to me he has really come into his element as a bad guy. He seems to have built a lot of confidence which has only helped him progress in the company. I believe he is probably the only superstar who has made a fully fledged turn from a good guy to a bad guy without any physical interaction whatsoever. His updates on his injury really helped him a lot because he created the impression of being very conceited without actually having to display this chnage through run ins or such like. His improved confidence has helped his ring work as well, he now seems much more sure of himself and has lost his green, one problem that does annoy about him though is that he does seem to have a problem with being rather injury prone which can seriously cost him an up in ranks of Raw position, I just hope that as he continues to better his acting ability he can also better his resistence to damaging his body because this could certainly be his achiles heel if he is not careful. Best newcomer: John Cena His transgression from good guy to bad guy was very well done and since arriving in the WWE has simply continued to improve his game week in and week out. An important aspects was for John Cena to lose his green in a hurry and he pulled it off very well to come up with a rather novel approach with his rapper gimmick. His breif stints at the top has let him advance particularly with his character approach and is now in my opinion one of the most entertaining perfomers on SmackDown!. Any oppurtunity he has had to sample a spot at the top of the show he has used to his advantage, giving him ample air time has not been a bad investment for the WWE because he is showing us that he is worth his salt. I am not totally convinced by his story telling in his matches just yet but it is early days for him in the company and he has a lot of time to iron out the issues in this area...where character treatment is concerned however he has been the breakout star in my view. Best Tag Team: Team Angle I think this unit certainly worked best when Kurt Angle was part of it, I cannot take anything away from Haas and Benjamin mind you because they are an exemplery team on SmackDown! Charlie has defined himself as the more convincing character of the two and Shelton delivers the in ring intensity for the team. To me they are a perfect combination of source and substance, Kurt Angle with them created a very convincing prospect for the future and now that they have been given the oppurtunity to get out of Angle's shadow they can simply keep moving up in the ranks. their matches feel very Kurt Angle orientated, they understand how to work the crowd even at this early stage in their career and this is a truly importnat part of their working well as a team. I love watching their matches because they are the team who sets the pace and does not deviate from it throughout the contest. As good as they are as a team I think they would have fantastic potential as singles competitors and I am looking forward to a break up to see how they are used in creative...break them up, but not too soon of course. Most Valuable Player: Kurt Angle Best Future Prospect: John Cena
