Default For any one who is asking : Did WWE buy ECW.!?

The following comes from Chad Smith, and The Other Arena:

The Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York entered an order approving the sale of substantially all ECW assets to WWE.
The hold-up in approval of the sale had been a late entry into the proceedings by Delta Music and Powersports, two companies that had a license agreement with ECW to distribute footage (some or all of it, at least all of the TV), specifically in the United Kingdom, and surrounding areas.

Upon closing of the ECW sale to WWE, Delta and Powersports will receive $165,000.00 from the Trustee.

WWE also must pay an additional $30,000 to Delta/Powersports. In return, Delta/Powersports will ship to WWE approximately 500 hours of ECW master tapes it has in its possession.

Delta also will be allowed to sell the inventory of ECW tapes/DVD's it already has for 90 days after it receives the money it is owed by wire transfer.

Tod Gordon is mentioned as being specifically barred from any claim to the footage.

will there you have it ,

in my point of view , it would be great to see some new DVD's out there , ex : "Dudley Boyz" a DVD about them , which might have some of their matchs from their ECW days ( jut like "nWo back in black" & "Rey 619" )

now its up to you "PWF posters" to post your thoughts about this stuation.

so What do you think?

one gret thing about fotage libraries is that wwe can make compilation tapes and dvds.

there is great potentail for rvd nd dudley boys dvds andfor more history of ther stars.

the thing is wwe doesnt like using old footage from other ompanies

take austin....they havent made a dvd about his career with much wcw stuff in it have they?

i dont know why, austin was a diffeent type of haracter then but he was still a vey hot heel and was bvery over, if misused.

actually using te tape library can be done in the present and future so ohh-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoob to you.

but wwe would be embarrassed about showing that rey, rvd and many more slapped much more arse in the other feds.

well Fr. $ubmi$$ion

we are talking about WWE DVDs

like the ones that had some WCW matchs in them "Reys DVD"

and the ones that had some WCW footage in them "nWo's DVD"

and there was a WWE Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD that had some footage of his WCW matchs and stuff (it was out just right before he "walked-out" back in 2002)

so as tin man said :

we could have some cool DVDs from WWE about guys who were only in ECW & WWE like : RVD , Dudley Boyz , Al Snow , Spike Dudley , Tommy Dremmer , Rhyno , Tajiri , TAZZ.

Plus they can do great DVDs for guys who were in ECW , WCW & WWE like : Eddie Guerrero , Chris Benoit , Chris Jericho , Lance Storm , Dean Malinko.

so what do you guys think?

i think wwe would be embarrassed to do a dvd which showed that certain stars were better back then.

but a series of "best of 199X and 200x" dvds would be cool with just the best bunch of matches from different feds all on one dvd. they could make loads.
