well, here's another card

Official InsurreXtion Card: Goldberg/Nash/HHH/Jericho, Regal.
Written by William Bone on June 03, 2003 at 17:54:10

Earlier today Wrestling Exposed posted a Insurrextion card from the Newcastle Telewest Arena website.
The WWE even confirmed the card on wweinsurrextion.com. However after re-visiting the website the WWE has once again changed the card.
Originally the main event was going to be Goldberg & Nash vs. Triple H & Chris Jericho. They have now changed the main event to Scott Steiner & Kevin Nash vs. Triple H & Chris Jericho.
Here is the updated Insurrextion card which should be the final card.
The following card is as follows:
Main Event
Scott Steiner & Kevin Nash (with Shawn Michaels) vs. Triple H & Chris Jericho (with Ric Flair)
INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Booker T vs. Christian
WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
RVD & Kane vs. La Resistance
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP
Trish Stratus vs. Jazz vs. Victoria
Other Matches
The Dudley Boyz vs. Rodney Mack & Christopher Nowinski
Goldust vs. Rico
Maven vs. Lance Storm
The Hurricane vs. Test (with Stacy Keibler)
Val Venis vs. Steven Richards
------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Expect William Regal to make an appearence, he quoted earlier this week in a UK tabloid newspaper that he will be at Insurrextion.

^there you go. and LMAO at boone going by william now.

and here's another update...

Bill Goldberg Off UK PPV, Kurt Angle/Brock Lesnar Team, More
Written by Amish Patel on June 03, 2003 at 18:48:46

Earlier today I posted that for the Insurrextion PPV in England, Bill Goldberg would team with Kevin Nash to take on Chris Jericho and Triple H in the main-event. It has now come to light that it had already been decided Goldberg would not appear on the show. The official website for the event is now announcing that Scott Steiner will be taking Goldberg's place.
Expect Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar to form a team upon Angle's return to SmackDown!. The idea of turning Chris Benoit and Rhyno heel to feud with the team of Angle and Lesnar has been toyed. It remains to be seen what route the WWE take. One thing is for definite though, Kurt Angle will be returning as a face.

and just for the record though, on www.wweinsurrextion.com it only says "Check back soon for the complete card" which is a little weird since the show is in 3 days and they don't have any matches posted......hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That ain't right skipping a PPV even if it's overseas. I guess I'll have to wait for DVD to actually watch this.

Full WWE Insurrextion Results - HHH vs. Nash Headlines!
Written by Deven Vickerman on June 07, 2003 at 21:01:46

WWE Insurrextion
Telewest Arena, Newcastle
June 7th 2003
Insurrextion kicked off with a still image of Freddie Blassie and an “in memory” dedication.
We then launched straight into a video package featuring Nash, Michaels, Triple H, Flair, Jericho, Steiner, Bischoff and Austin.
WWE Women’s Title
Jazz (c) w/ Theodore Long vs. Trish Stratus
Jazz picked up the win in 9:42 after Theodore got in the ring and rammed Trish shoulder first into the turnbuckle, while the referee was distracted with the interfering Victoria.
A neat video package of the Christian and Booker T feud aired next.
WWE Intercontinental Title
Christian (c) vs. Booker T
Christian fluked a win after 15:10 with a reversal of Booker T’s roll up - ably assisted by the ropes, of course. One sided match in Booker’s favour which bodes well for Bad Blood.
Backstage Austin runs into Theodore Long and after telling Theodore his suit must have cost “at least 19.95 in a thrift store” books him into a 6 man tag match with Christopher Nowinski and Rodney Mack against Bubba, Spike and D-Von - The Dudley Boys. Austin sent Long packing as Kane came round the corner - a brief staredown followed, ending when Kane walked off.
A video reminder of the issues between RVD & Kane and La Resistance aired, featuring Austin’s “motivation” of Kane after the match on last week’s Raw.
World Tag Team Titles
Rob Van Dam & Kane (c) vs. La Resistance
Ross and Lawler played on the effects that Austin’s motivation may have had on Kane all through the match, which ended in 9:03, when an RVD 5 star frog splash on Sylvan Grenier (after simultaneous chokeslams to both Grenier and Dupree from Kane) got the win for the champions.
Al Snow interviewed Goldust backstage, who hyped his upcoming match with Rico
Rico vs. Goldust
In a solid match, Goldust powerslammed Rico for the win in 9:52.
JR and The King briefly talked about Freddie Blassie, before a video tribute to him and his life aired, at home and in the arena. Lawler and Ross stood up applauding as the arena chanted “Freddie! Freddie”.
Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel
featuring Eric Bischoff and Steve Austin
Jericho came down to a ring filled with 2 bar stools and a small red carpet to host the first International edition of the Highlight Reel (his words, not mine) and complained about the set and generally antagonising the Newcastle crowd before introducing Eric Bischoff, who proceeded to do the same.
Austin interrupted, and after informing the crowd that he had 20 pints the night before, and told Bischoff that the planned Nash vs. Triple H main event was now a street fight, opted for a beer bash with Jericho and Bischoff - in a surreal moment, Jericho even managed to get the crowd to say “dowahdiddy diddydum diddydoo” before the beer drinking would commence.
Needless to say, Jericho was the recipient of a stunner. Bischoff looked worried, before Austin reminded him that he couldn’t touch him... in the US. Kick wham stunner, more beers and everyone was happy.
A quick segment backstage with Triple H and Ric Flair was next. Just the usual “I’m the man, this isn’t fair” kind of stuff.
6 man tag match
Bubba, Spike and D-Von Dudley vs. Rodney Mack, Christopher Nowinski & Theodore Long
The crowd were really into this match, with the tables being on the receiving end of the biggest chants. Spike took the win for the Dudleys at the 9 minute mark when he pinned Theodore after a misguided Rodney Mack clothesline took out Theodore instead of the intended target, Spike. After the match, the fans of tables got their way, when Nowinski took a 3D through a table.
A brief video package highlighting the differences between Test, Scott Steiner and Stacy Keibler aired, hyping the match at Bad Blood also.
Guest Referee : Val Venis - Guest Ring Announcer : Stacy Keibler
Scott Steiner vs. Test
Stacy was at ringside as she’s contractually obliged to be with Test for the time being. Short match, with a lot of crowd interaction between Stacy and the fans. Scott picked up the win after he hit his version of Kanyon’s Flatliner at 6:40
A very good recap of the Nash and Triple H feud aired, and it was time for the main event - HBK came down to the ring to his music, followed by Nash, then Triple H - no separate entrance for Flair...
World Heavyweight Title
Street Fight
Triple H (c) w/ Ric Flair vs. Kevin Nash w/ HBK
This is the match we should have had at Judgment Day. Wasn’t the greatest match you’ll ever see, but it was a million times better than the last PPV outing between the two. Flair did an almighty blade job within 2 minutes while he and HBK were brawling outside the ring, and the two briefly left to go to the back. Nash and Trips brawled up the ramp, and onto the announce position, before brawling back to the ring in time for the finish - After some more Flair and HBK antics, Triple H used the sledgehammer on Nash to retain his title in 15:03. No surprise that the title didn’t change, but a surprisingly enjoyable match.
All in all one of the better UK PPVs and a good sign for Bad Blood.

InsurreXtion Notes Off Air, WWE Moves Fans, Pyro Hits Hebner
Written by William Bone on June 08, 2003 at 07:54:31

WWE Insurrextion
Telewest Arena, Newcastle
I have just come back from WWE Insurrextion and the following is an Exclusive Wrestling Exposed report.
First of all the hype before the show was pretty unbelievable, not only was there WWE fans attending the show from Newcastle, but also from around the United Kingdom. I myself travelled from the other side of the country to see this show and having flown into Newcastle I saw around 30 WWE fans on my flight there and back alone. Also many locals were very aware of the show.
This was the first WWE show televised at the Telewest Arena, Newcastle. The first thing I have to comment about is that tonight based on T-Shirt and merchandise sales, Stone Cold & Chris Jericho was the top selling items. Triple H's shirts however weren’t selling.
Before Insurrextion aired the WWE played the Desire video, slightly updated since I last saw it, it did get the fans into the show and as usual the WWE was teasing fans by making the lights flicker and lights change.
The Insurrextion set was the same as last years, it had the big Red X where the superstars come out under with two Titantrons screens either side of the X, the commentary table was in the same position it is on Raw.
25 minutes before Insurrextion aired we had Howard Finkel come out to the ring and announce the rules, he did pretty well considering that the fans replied with "WHAT?" each time he spoke a word.
Afterwards their was two dark matches, the first was Maven against some German guy (couldn't hear his name), he pretty much got a lot of heat as he came out dressed in German colours. The match was pretty decent and Maven won via a drop kick from the top rope.
The second dark match was The Hurricane against Lance Storm, this match was probably one of the best matches of the night with two superb athletes giving it their all, lots of near falls and this match was very like a Cruiserweight match, Hurricane won via the Shining Wizard.
During the dark matches you could see beyond the ring where the cameras were facing. Their were empty spots in the crowd, the show overall was a near sell out with a few seats here and there empty, but the main problem was that with 20 minutes before a pay per view you could see on the Titantron that there was empty parts in the crowd where the cameras were facing, the WWE however moved fans to cover those spots.
Insurrextion itself was a pretty good event, there wasn’t many faults, it looked like the ending of Christian vs. Booker T was a botched ending, it was kind of the same botched ending we saw on Raw this past week.
Booker T's pyros burned out, his usual flames on the stage fizzled out, this wasn't on camera, however it was noticed by the fans.
The arena was very hot & smoky, a fire marshal had to come over to our area to check what the smoke was, it was that bad. Eventually the air conditioning came on and for the first two minutes it made a very loud noise, which I assume came out on TV.
There was quite a lot of "You Screwed Bret" chants aimed at Earl Hebner during the night, other chants throughout the night was, "Jazz's A Man", "Y2J", "Austin" & "WOOOOOOOO".
Chris Jericho’s highlight reel was by far the best part of the show, it was so over with the fans, it was the "first ever international edition of the highlight reel". Without the Jeritron 5000 and his little stage set, it was just a red carpet with two bar stools, Jericho was way over with the fans and was pretty much getting cheered & booed. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Eric Bischoff & Jericho was awesome during the highlight reel. It was the best part of any WWE show I have seen in the past four WWE events, that's how big it was!
Stone Cold was the most over superstar during the whole show.
Rico v Goldust pretty much sucked, no one was into it.
The Freddie Blassie farewell video went well with the fans, fans of all ages were moved by the video and the UK showed a lot of respect to a legend.
During Jericho's highlight reel, Austin mentioned that he changed tonight’s main event from a normal match to a street fight between Kevin Nash & Triple H, I am not sure about the viewers at home but to us in attendance we had no idea what the main event was so that was kind of odd. Also the opening video hinted the main event would be Kevin Nash & Steiner vs. Triple H & Jericho, didn’t happen.
Steiner vs. Test was a pretty decent match, in what will be a Bad Blood match.
Same goes with RVD & Kane, RVD was on top of his game tonight and we saw glimpses of the old Kane, with a double chokeslam.
During Kevin Nash’s entrance, when he got into the ring and his pyros shot down into the ring, the sparks fell onto Earl Hebners head, he was holding his head for a few minutes, however he was ok to referee the main event.
The main event was a little disappointing, it didn’t feel like a street fight and it was obvious that Triple H was going to retain, and it was the same usual ending, Flair gets involved, Triple H uses sledgehammer, referee wakes up and counts for the three.
Overall the show was pretty good and the fans was into it, shame Goldberg couldn’t come over, but tonight the WWE didn’t need him and the fans didn’t seem that bothered by him not being there. Although personally I am disappointed he no showed. It was a good performance by the WWE superstars and I get the feeling that this wont be the first televised event at the Telewest Arena, Newcastle.
Top 5 pops of the night
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
2. Chris Jericho
3. Dudley Boyz
4. Booker T
5. RVD & Kane
Top 5 heat of the night
1. Eric Bischoff
2. La Resistance
3. German wrestler pre-show
4. Rico
5. Christian
Match of the night: Rob Van Dam & Kane vs. La Resistance
Moment of the night: Jericho’s Highlight Reel.
Superstar/s of the night: Jericho, Austin, Bischoff. All these guys pretty much made the night for me.
Overall rating: 7.5/10. A good show considering that most matches were predictable, the fans were into the show from start to finish and Jericho's Highlight Reel was really "The Highlight Of The Night".
