No Vince said on Howard Stern that he has no plan of coming out with a 24 hour wrestling channel as for other promotions maybe.

WWA will be on pay per view june 8th

they only televise the ppvs so this will be the 5th one they've televised, but as for the house shows on the small tours no, they don't air those.

is this what you guys are talking about :

Sky Digital in UK is close to opening a new channel that would just be about professional wrestling. The new channel would feature New Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Ring of Honor, Ohio Valley Wrestling and Combat Zone Wrestling, among other promotions around Europe. Nothing has been said about featuring WWE on the channel. The new channel is planning on opening around September

from PW.

They might, but there is also a 24 hour channel online that you can watch every fed that has a local tv deal, including japan, england and puerto rico, and has been available for a few months now.

more on the wrestling channel

KNIVES OUT
By Ian Hamilton, [ian.hamilton@wrestling-online.com]

For years, on both sides of the pond, wrestling fans have been asking
for it. Unfortunately, in the States, it's something that's not going to
happen for some time to come. What am I talking about? About the only
thing that isn't on TV these days - a wrestling channel.

Whilst TNN is coming pretty close with Raw, Heat, Velocity and
Confidential, and Philly has wrestling on seven days a week, there is no
channel where a fan can be guaranteed to watch wrestling. Even in these
days of the
independent alphabet soup, TV deals are scattered all over the place in
the US. But in the UK, that's about to change.

If the rumours are true (and I have no reason to believe that they
aren't), the alphabet soup will have a home on British television on a
new "wrestling channel" on Sky Digital. No name has been announced yet,
and indeed, there has been no official confirmation from the guys behind
this, but all of the signs are there.

Several months ago, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) announced that they had
secured a TV deal in the United Kingdom to start in the "fall of 2003".
CZW didn't announce a carrier though - prompting wrestling fans this
side of the pond to guess whether it was going to be Bravo, Channel 4 or
Channel 5 (all of which have broadcast wrestling in the past).

Adding to that, we've also had other promotions hint at TV deals in the
UK - such as XPW (if it's still alive), NWA:TNA (even though they've
been going for a year, they still have zero exposure here - barring the
tape traders, of course), and British promotions FWA (Frontier Wrestling
Association, whose previous TV deal was concentrated in the south of
England) and NWA:Hammerlock UK.

According to the rumours, there's up to 15 promotions who will be
involved with this new channel. Deep breath guys, here's the list: FWA,
CZW, ROH (Ring of Honor), OVW, XPW (apparently confirmed) plus: NOAH,
NJPW, AJPW,
Zero-One, Toryumon (for you puroresu lovers) as well as EMLL and old
footage from the Memphis (probably some new stuff too), Florida, Georgia
and Mid-South territories.

(cheers to Mo Chatra for that - apparently some deals have been struck,
but not announced, and the channel will be launching in a few months).

Adding more weight to these rumours, NWA:TNA are reported to have booked
a 12-date tour of Europe in eleven arenas (including two nights back to
back in Dublin, Ireland). Now, I know Andrew McManus was daft enough to
book big tours of the UK for the WWA with no publicity, but I'd credit
the Jarretts with more brains - and the fact that this 12 show tour has
been booked would suggest that they've got this TV deal (and are praying
that it gets then enough exposure to pull decent crowds)

Anyone with half a brain and any knowledge of the TV scene in the UK
would realise - they're not all going to be able to find a TV station.
Channel 4 won't touch wrestling after having it's fingers burned with
the WWF
(remember Mae Young's "bikini" at the 2000 Rumble? That was their first
WWF pay per view - and that incident made sure that they weren't going
to renew their 2 year contract). Channel 5 isn't interested, whilst
Bravo can't seem to find the space.

Any channel with "Sky" in it's name is excluded because of it's
exclusive WWE deal - so what happens now? Well, you start a wrestling
channel of course!

Damn. I feel sorry for you submission. Even though, about 50 bucks a PPV here in Canada is a lot too!
