Default Chris Jericho Interview

The following is a recap of a recent Chris Jericho interview conducted by Cris Chisum:

Chris Jericho:

- He said that they just got done editing their first DVD that has the video of "With the Fire", videos, commentaries, pictures, and much more. Go to to order this DVD because it is not sold in stores.

- He said that being a wrestler has it's pro's and con's when it comes to the success of Fozzy.

- He said that he has a very busy schedule in the WWE, but he believes in the band so he finds time for them. As long as he knows there is a market for the band, he will definitely do it. He said because of the limited time he has, the band lays down all the tracks and he just comes in and does his singing parts.

- He said they have been doing 3 or 4 gigs a month, but it will be slowing down soon now that the Happenstance tour is coming to an end. This summer they should start a third album that will feature more original songs, although they will still do cover songs as well. He said that he and Rich Ward wrote the songs.

- He said that the new "Highlight Reel" on Raw that he has been doing was not created just to start a rivalry with Roddy Piper, it's just a way to create a cool factor on their show. He doesn't like to see the shows based around Piper and Hogan and he doesn't think that fans do either so it's an updated version of "Piper's Pit". He said it was his idea and that he doesn't want to see it on television every single week, but he definitely wants to keep it as a regular segment whenever it fits.

- He said he doesn't know why people are booing Nash. He doesn't think that it matters who is opposite of him in the ring, if people are going to boo him, they will.

- He said that there is not anything planned as of right now for him to turn back face, but you never know, but he is very happy with where he is because he anchors the show.

- He said that he hopes they push the Intercontinental Title to the second most important title that it used to be.

- He said that they will have to wait and see how the people take to Goldberg. He said that putting him on the show was not an immediate ratings boost, but hopefully, he can build himself to be more of a ratings winner.

hmmm, don't know how you can slow down from only 3 or 4 shows a month. That's a pretty light schedule. I wish he'd spoke more on being in a program with Berg now. Also understand his point about the IC title. The highlight reel is a big fat pipers pit, but it's good to see, and he's right on when talking about the show revolving around old fuckers.
