Like it or not, you gotta give to Lesnar. No one has ever done more in a shorter amount of time. Honorable mention for HBK for (IMO) coming back and perfroming in the best 2 matches of the year.

Brock Lesnar

Not only did he do everything, he made a name for himself as basically the top wrestler in WWE in under a year.

Gotta go with Kurt Angle...why, name one bad match he had this year. The only one that springs to mind was the title match with Big Show and even that was bearable for a Big Show match. Now name how many times his matches have been the best matches of the night.

Undertaker. Let's not forget he won back his title after years of not having it. Brock only was the man during the end of the year. YOu just cannot remember the begining. SO Undertaker should be the man. Brock did a great job, but he only got good at the end!

Lesnar above and beyond everyone else.

Why would you even vote for anyone else?

Bottom line is this:

1. Debut after WM
2. Won King of Ring and won three matches in ONE NIGHT, beating that fag RVD two times in less than one week. Hey whatever's cool......
3. Youngest star to EVER win the WWE/WWF title.
4. Had the BEST and most well known legends jobbing to HIM.
5. Unbeaten streak (less you count the screw job by Heyman)
6. All the doubters soon turned to Lesnar Marks after seeing what this kid is capable of.
7. Beat the Rock, and took his title, by the end of the match, the croud who just 45 minutes before, booed him, was cheering his name after stomping the Rock (yes I know it is predetermined, but you have to give it to McMahon on this one, he not only found a diamond in the rough with Brock, but he got so much more than he EVER bargained for, this is hands down one of the greatest finds in the Wrestling business since The Ultimate Warrior)
8. Period, point blank, there is not a man (aside from MAYBE Kurt Angle) that can beat this man in a REAL wrestling match. He completely destroyed everything that Kurt Angle did in his collegiate career.

How can you have Kane on the list, and not Benoit?

Benoit returned from a severely injured neck, and is putting on tremendous matches every single time he performs. This man deserves the strap more than anyone else.

Anyways, I'm voting for Lesnar. He had a tremendous year, and has had great matches. I liked him when he first debuted, then when Heyman was "holding" him back from destroying everyone and making him looks a wuss, I started to like him a little less. Once he dropped Heyman, and started bein the baddest motha fucka in the WWE and whippin ass at any chance, I got really excited about what he was going to be.

On a side note, very well said Taylor, I agree with everything you said.

Brock is great, but 2003 will be his year.

For 2002, RVD. His character isn't concerned with winning the WWE title, although he'll take any shot he can get. He made a kind of low-level impact, and I was impressed. And no, I'm not a t-shirt wearing, R-V-D chanting mark either.
