I heard Blackman might be a possible opponent for Tank Abbot....Or at least he is in the MMA World.....Taka I believe runs his own promotion in Japan....Not too sure though....

I was wondering because Blackman was always just a step away fron being a main event player.

Essa would really help the sagging Cruiserweight division.

and Taka was the WWE's first Light Heaviweight Champ and I miss the Kientai before match promos that they used to do.

Please.......

Roaddogg, Al Snow and Hardcore Holly were all MUCH better than him. Blackman and his little kendo sticks and trash can lids didn't have much long-term impact on the division.

Blackman in the main event???

That guy has about as much charisma as my big fuckin toe.

The highlight of his career is gonna be the spot off the tower with Shane. Of which Shane did most of the work.

I meant that if you look back at 98 he was in main events on Raw with Austin and Dude Love. in 99 he was the McMahon's hitman against Shamrock and for a very short while the sutible replacement for Shane in the Handicap Ladder match for control of the WWE with Vince as his partner. 2000 he was involved in the Shane storyine, Austin's return, and the most over thing that year, the 24/7 Hardcore Title.

Blackman was always near the top of the middle card and the bottom of the main event.

I can honestly never remember a time when Blackman feuded with Dude Love or Austin. Also, he was never in the middle card. If he was, he would've at least have been given the IC belt, something he never won. Blackman was always merely a spare. Someone they used only when they were in need of a new heel, or a new tag partner for Al Snow, or a fresh face in the Harcore division. He never had nearly enough charisma to even dream about the main event.

maybe but 5 years later the roster is so much deeper. Why try to keep getting him over, when you can pull up some new talent. Someday they'll get rid of a bunch more of the jobbers who can't hold a gimmick for more than 4 months. Bull Buchanann or whatever is right there on the chopping block.

Marbles, he never actually fueded with Love or Austin, he was just used in the main event for like 3 or 4 weeks with them. They fought him so that the other one could interfere or McMahon could have the bell rung as soon as Dude Love locked in the Mandible Claw.

And whatever happened to Vader? last time I rember seeing him was against Mark Henry at Fully Loaded 98.
