I don't know how much longer I can handle this. It feels like i'm using internet from like 1995. Every other site runs fine for me expect this one. Its driving me insane.

I get time out errors all the time, like seriously every other page click is a time out and i have to try again.

it actually makes stuff i do as admin hard cause it keeps timing out and i have to keep trying stuff over and over and over.

I was getting alot of time out errors a couple weeks ago. But it stopped now. Now its just moving so slow.

I'm suprised no one has made a thread about this yet.

The Planet engineers are working with Global Crossing to eliminate the packet loss issues that have been seen over the last couple of days. The Planet has taken down inbound GlobalCrossing routes to work around the issue and will reinstate them when GlobalCrossing has the issue resolved. We thank you for your patience in this matter while we resolve the issue.

AboveNet will be performing emergency maintenance in their network on 1/10/06 at 12:00am CST. This should only result in minor latency jitter and loss for sites within AboveNet as they perform their maintenance which will last for 6 hours.
Looks like a combination of the above 2 may be what is causing some slowness around here. Traffic on the network is routed with BGP, so it will take the best possible provider for your location...looks like the best possible provider is one of those two. Unfortunately, there is no way of choosing another provider so I guess it will have to be dealt with until the lines are fixed by the engineers. Sorry.

Anyway, here is a place you can go if you notice any type of slowness. It will let you know about any issues with the network. http://forums.theplanet.com/viewforum.php?f=26. If it's not posted on there, it's probably just you...

If you want help determining if the issue is on our network or yours, post the results of the following command and I'll let you know.

Start › Run › CMD (XP) or Command (For Win2000, ME)

Yesterday was bad. I asked Stone Cold about it and he told me to stop asking questions. So I did.

But it's fine and dandy today.

Yeah, I only read about five threads yesterday due to the slowness of the site.

Fine now.
