Default NBA - The Draft

And whatever news related to the draft...should go in here...

So far...J. Oneal is gone from Pacers to the Raps for T.J. Ford and tomorrow 17th overall pick...

The Baron Davis to Pistons for Billups and R. Wallace was bullshit rumor...there's no way in hell the Pistons giving up that much for Davis...

Fuck you Gino. Didn't hear any of those Davis for Billups/Wallace rumors, so I nearly had a heart attack when I started reading.

The J. O'Neal trade is meh. Toronto has a sweet front court, but they're still no real threat in the east without help to their back court.

As for the draft, I say the smartest thing the Bulls can do is draft Beasly, but my guess is they won't. They'll take Rose giving Beasly to the Heat, who IMO, if they keep Marion, have a great 1-2-3 threat if all stay healthy.

Heart attack? I almost broke my legs running to the internet to find out if the rumors were true when I saw it on ESPN...Hell I'd give up A. Harrington, Baron Davis and draft pick for Sheed and Big Shot Billups...even that is still a steal for the Warriors...

"Experts" are saying the Heats want a guard and might draft O.J. Mayo before Beasley...

But for now Rose is a lock at number one...

FUCK you Memphis. We were one pick away from Donte Greene. Meh, I'm still happy with DJ White.

Westbrook at 4 and Thompson at 12 didn't surprise you?

Anyways all I have to say about the draft is that New Jersey stole this whole damn thing. Set up their future pretty well.

It would've been a perfect night for them if they got rid of Carter for some picks or so though.
