Default Top 5 Fantasy QBs

Who do you think will be the best point producing QBs in fantasy leagues this year?

Obviously Peyton and Culpepper should be topping the lists....who else tho?

No faith in McNabb?
IMO Brady isn't that great a QB, I don't see him producing anywhere near the level of the top 2...I see him as more of a top 10 guy, definately a solid number 7.

Delhomme kinda surprises me tho... Why so much faith in him? Seems like another top 10, not so much a top 5.

I base McScab basically on TO, and whether or not they can co-exist for an entire season. I'm banking on 'no'.

Brady had 28 TDs last year, and Delhomme had 29.

The way I look at it, the WRs in NE have been upgraded and they have a surplus at that position. I'm sure everyone will check their egos like they always do, and Brady's numbers will benefit. Plus they have Dillon who sets up the playaction.

Delhomme is getting Steve Smith back, and hopefully Davis and Foster can stay healthy to maintain a running game that will take pressure off of Delhomme and also set up the passing game.

I think TO's number will suffer this year but I also think Donovan is gonna do just fine...I can understand tho why you question him.

P. Manning
Culpepper
Bulger
McNabb
Delhomme

And I love Brady, but he's good at winning. Not at putting up massive numbers.

I don't know why I'm the only one but...I'm going to go out on a limb. Noone else on earth has said this to my knowledge, so I'm expecting a few WTFs to come at me on this...

Culpepper owes everything he has...his notoriety, his fantasy value, his contract, his stature in the NFL...everything he has, Daunte owes to Randy Moss. Without Randy, I don't see D making the Pro Bowl, and I don't see the situation in Minnesota being anything other than a guillotine with Mike Tice's name on it.

Of course Moss didn't lead Vikes WRs in catches or yards last year...and there's no doubt that a lot of the WTFs I get will reference that. But the WRs that blew up in Minnesota last year or even before should recognize that they were open because Randy had 2 or 3 defenders on him every pass play. When WRs see nothing but 1-on-1 coverage for entire seasons, then they'd better be catching a lot of balls for a lot of yards, otherwise there's a problem.

Daunte's got a great arm and he's pretty shrewd, but I think losing Randy will be too much for him this year. Write it down, remember it, weather it happens or not, I don't think Daunte will do well this year at all.

Call it a hunch.

BTW...

Manning, P
McNabb
Collins
Delhomme (guy's got a cannon arm)
Brady (guy's good for a couple TDs a game... )

Late.

Manning and McNabb are pretty much given at this point. Delhomme had the leading reciever in Mohammad I'm pretty sure. They should have a powerfull offense this year. Brady is going to deliver his usual performance, which is to say, impresive. He throws twice as many td's as he throws picks. That means more of his points stay on the fantasy board.

If I have to pick a darkhorse, I gotta go with my boy in SD, Drew Brees. He went 27-7 last year, a trip to the probowl, comeback player of the year, all his starters are returning plus a full season with McCardell and he still has Rivers breathing down his neck to keep him producing.

Two words, Randy...Moss.

And thank god Glue. That's EXACTLY what I've been trying to say, just couldn't get the words right.

Yeah, I'm aware of that...I base that solely on Moss, Porter and that Curry kid. IMO, Ability to throw the deep ball + Moss + Porter = (potential) 35 TDs. Mike Tice might call it "The Randy Ratio."

Harrington might not be a bad pickup to ride the pine this year...he's got a glut of talent at WR as well...

I was thinking about Brees as my 5th guy, but I still think his performance last year was a one shot deal...

Late.

I can't explain it...I thought about him when I made my list...I'm aware that he's in a sick, sick offense...but no. For some reason that escapes me...I gots no love for Trent Green.

I honestly don't know why though...

Totally forgot about Green. He's tied for 5th with Hasselbeck on my list.

Hasselbeck? lmao

Hasselbeck sucks. I'll give him some slack because his recievers aren't much better. But I wouldn't even consider Hasselbeck as a top 15 qb.
