Default Sleeper NFL team.

For this upcoming season, who is your team which didn't make the playoffs will this year?

For me it's Detroit.

And then Arizona.

I'll go with Houston. David Carr might breakthrough this year, and their D is rock solid.

New Orleans always seems to be close, but not quite there. They are consistantly 8-8 and just 1 game out. Last year won their final 4 games to put themselves in position to get in on a tiebreaker, but Stl. beat the jets to put the Rams in over the Saints. I think that the Saints have beefed up their secondary enough to get them in this year.

Yeah.

I mean.. You pretty much have two contenders.

Seahawks.

Rams.

Both are just.. Not playoff teams.

Seattle can't catch the ball.

And all the rams can do IS catch the ball.

Arizona Cardinals. I think if Warner gets over holding onto the ball for too long the offense should be good. Throwing to Boldin and Fitzgerald is light years ahead of what he threw to last season. Arrington is an upgrade over Shipp. But I like that defense. I think it has the makings to be very good. You got Berry, Okefor, and Dockett on the D-Line. Dansby and Blackstock manning the LB position. Rolle, Green, and Wilson in the secondary.

A villain big and bold
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake
As he robs them of their gold.
The Autumn wind is a RAIDER

He'll knock you 'round and upside down
And laugh when he's conquered and won.

Jets. They're D is underrated (they had a lower PPG average than the Patriots and tied with Baltimore and Pittsburg), plus with the aquisition of Lavernius Coles, the return of a healthy Pennington, and the rushing champ Curtis Martin, they're definately gonna make a run for it.

Yeah but, the Jets made the playoffs last year, and came a field goal, (make that two field goals), away from the AFC Championship game.

Coles sucks. He's no better then Moss. Both of them are overrated and will never be nothing more then a 2nd or 3rd reciever.

I pick...Chicago. Why? Look at the situation. Injuries killed a promising start last year for Rex Grossman, they get him back. They have a very solid runner in Cedric Benson. Mike Brown and Urlacher will be awesome, and stay healthy all year, unlike last year. I just honestly think they have a solid team this year and may compete for a wild card spot. I hope they don't, but I put my Wisconsin bias on the shelf on this website.
