the fuck Rangers pitcher breaks elbow...

Texas starter Ricardo Rodriguez broke his right elbow when he was struck by a line drive in the fourth inning of the Rangers' 11-1 loss to the Anaheim Angels on Thursday.

Rodriguez was half-turned toward first base after throwing a pitch to Anaheim's Robb Quinlan leading off the fourth. Quinlan's liner hit the pitcher and ricocheted to third base. The right-hander immediately dropped face-first to the ground writhing in pain.

Ricardo Rodriguez collapses after a liner hit him and broke his elbow.

"I really feel for him," Rangers manager Buck Showalter said. "He is not getting back what he's put into it right now. Hopefully, he will get things straightened out and come pitch for us again next year."

Full story here.

Holy shit that sounds painful... compared to some other things that have happened in baseball that isn't that bad... things like getting hit in the head with a baseball, hit in the face... but regardless... that is really messed up... that liner had to have been going extremely fast to break his ELBOW...
