Default Kenyon Martin to the Denver Nuggets...

Carmelo Anthony helped Denver reach the playoffs for the first time in nine years.

The Nuggets hope Kenyon Martin can help them take the next step.

Denver acquired Martin in a sign-and-trade deal with New Jersey on Thursday, sending three future first-round draft picks to the Nets for the All-Star power forward.

The deal, a result of several days of on-and-off again talks between the teams, was completed after Martin agreed to a seven-year deal with the Nets.

Man... this came a little unexpected, although it was a big day in the NBA... lots of trades and signings... it's shaping up to be a decent off-season so far.
