Default (NBA) ~ Was This The Greatest Rookie Class Ever?

In all 16 of my years, and the many I've spent being a sports fan, I would have to say yes... there was so much talent in this years draft, whether it was within the first few picks, or if it was talent that bloomed after the draft.

From LeBron to Carmelo, back to Dwayne Wade, and hell, even Chris Anderson... who established himself as a shot blocking presence... these guys proved they have what it takes to be forces in this league for years to come, there was so much hype put on LeBron and Carmelo's shoulders, and for them to go out and produce like they did just shows the amount of talent they have.

Not to mention talent to come... with the 2nd overall pick (Darko Milicic) having sat out practically the whole year, as the Pistons thought they would give him the feel of the league, and the rigorous schedule during the season, and to teach him how mentally and physically tough you have to be to last... I could expect things to come from this guy in the future... once he gets the feel, and finally gets some minutes.

Funny stat ~ The 2nd overall pick's season high for minutes in a single game was 12.

The class with Bird and Magic (80) and the Jordan/Olujowon (84) were better.
