Default If you were the owner of an NBA franchise...

Who would you base your franchise around, like what player would you put as the foundation, and build your team around, please give a reason along with your answer.

I would start off with of course, Kevin Garnett, that man can do everything, pass, shoot, steal, block shots, rebound, and can even hold his own when playing defense on point guards. He's been in the league for 9 years, and he's still only 27... he has plenty of brilliant years ahead of him yet, and I think he's the strongest foundation of all. Tim Duncan may be good, but he has nothing on Kevin, Duncan had support in his world champion runs, Kevin never had up until this year, and let the numbers speak for themselves... 49-22, 1st in the Midwest. Not to mention individual stats -

77% FTP
49% FGP
39.6 MPG
24.5 PPG
13.9 RPG
5.0 APG
2.1 BPG
1.3 SPG

If Kevin doesn't win the MVP this year it's a damn shame... but that's my case for Kevin being my franchise player.
