Default The Horsemen/Brainbusters vs. The Moondogs

Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson wrestled in both the WCW and WWE...as part of the Four Horsemen they accomplished alot in WCW including two reigns as Tag champs..the first came after beating the ROck and Roll express in september of 87..tehy would hold on to the titles for 6 months and then be involved with former horsemen members luger and windham..AA and blanchard regain their belts in april of 88 and would keep them until the midnight express beat them 5 months later...they would leave the WCW and head to the WWE where teaming up with BObby Heenan would become the Brain Busters and win the tag titles there as well beating Demolition..they held the belts for 3 months before dropping the titles back to the painted men.

The Moondogs aer very strange indeed...known mostly on the indy scene..the moondogs did hit the big time winning the WWF title..in march of 81 they would beat tony garea and Rick Martel to hold the belts for 4 months before losing them back to their predecessors.

It really didn't matter if they were known as The Horsemen: Anderson and Blanchard, or the Brainbusters. This is one of the greatest technical wrestling tag teams in the history of the business. Anderson was one of the greatest tag wrestlers and then add in the factor of Tully Blanchard, one of the greatest scientific wrestlers to ever step in the ring, give them a kick ass gimmick and you have a formula for success. Whether they had Dillion or Heenan in their corner, this team was so damn good to watch. The crowds either really loved them or the really hated them. So they got the job done when it came to getting heat, and they could wrestler so well. One of those tag teams where the wrestlers are so good they don't even need another person to hide their flaws.

The Moondogs had many combinations and versions of their team, but I was never a fan of Rex, Spot and all the rest of them......

Blanchard and Anderson it is.....
