Default GTTOAT Round 1: Natural Disasters vs. Stan Hansen & Genichiro Tenryu

Two of the largest athletes to step into a WWF ring Earthquake and Typhoon would become a team called the Natural Disasters...while demolishing their opponents, the two become involved in a fued with Money Inc..That fued would dominate most of 1992, with the Disaters finally scoring gold in July of that year..they held the belts for 3 months before losing them back to Money Inc..

Stan Hansen was known as a tough redneck cowboy in the southern parts of the united states, wrestling in several independents and WCW...with a devastating lariat he would take his skills to Japan and continue to have even greater success wrestling in the Orient...Hansen would team with Tenryu...Tenryu had success in IWGP as a tag champ, but met up with Hansen in All Japan where the two of them would win the fed's tag title on 3 occasions...the first occured in july of 89 after Terry Gordy left Hansen without a partner..Hansen and Tenryu would only keep the belts a few weeks..but would soon win them again in October of that year...the two had to vacate the titles for the ALL JAPAN TAG TOURNAMENT (don't ask)..Hansen and Tenryu would win that tournament and for the third time that year claim the gold..this would last for 3 months until Hansen old partner Gordy would return with Dr. Death Steve Williams and take the titles away..Hansen would continue to compete in All Japan with several partners to battle Gordy for the belts.

obviously not a lot of people remember either of these two teams.....I'm not gonna write a book about very many tag teams, but the Natural Disasters shouldn't have even gotten one vote.....

^^^LOL, like I always said it was Dibiase and Rotunda who actually brought out their best match, and it wasn't even because of them that the match was good. But I chose Hansen and Tenryu, because unlike ND their matches were actually watchable. And there was a lot less stomping in the ring and a lot more wrestling...
