Default GWOAT Round 2: Hulk Hogan vs. Scott Hall

Two of the founder memebers of the NWO square off against each other. Hogan easy put the bossman out of his misery in round 1, while Hall had a run for his money against the Iron Shiek..So who moves on to Round 2 in the Greatest "WRESTLER" of all time tourney.

hard decisions, as far as greatest wrestler depends on how you use the term wrestler. Hall had it all just wasn't the show piece hogan was when wrestling became big..i know all about the championships hogan won, some cause he had it in his contract..so hall gets my vote.

I hate to have to vote for Hogan over Hall, but I just can't compare them without looking at all that Hogan has accomplished, compared to all that Hall failed on. Hall just isn't really that special. He's not special in the ring. He's not a special character. He's not anything really stand out. He got big because at the time, WWE was hurting for stars. Yeah, he did all right in his career, and he had some big matches, but he is really known for starting the NWO and working within that. I just don't see enough for me to not vote Hogan again. Now, I am sure that Hogan won't make it past the next round, and he really shouldn't, but for all that he has done, and for bringing wrestling out of the bingo halls and into the homes of millions, for taking wrestling and brining it to the forefront. Yeah, he's a pretty shit technical wrestler, but like I said with Taker, he just embodies more of what makes a wrestler great. The charisma, working the crowd etc. Hogan has to be considered a pivotal figure in wrestling, Scott Hall just isn't.

I was never a Hulkamaniac, so this is easy for me. Scott Hall. He is a much better wrestler than Hogan ever was. He didn't need no 24-inch pythons or "Take your vitamins" speech to get him over.

Hall, even with his problems, is a much better wrestler than Hogan.

Sure...you can take a run at numbfuck SC or plainjane Josh or complete moron Alex or can't get out of his own way Boston...but I don't agree with you about Barry and it's "Rueben Droughns this" "weed that" "your kids this" "Look at me and my halo over my head that."

Whatever. First of all, you don't have any depth of knowledge about any of that stuff, so you're just talking out of your ass. Secondly, you wouldn't be saying any of that shit if Barry Bonds wasn't some roided up freak who you're in love with.

It's fucking gay. I have better things to do than deal with someone who can't even debate a point, rather changes the subject again and again to deflect the fact that he's dead wrong. It's what dumbass 6th graders do...

I honestly don't give a fuck about your opinion. Like I told Alex, they're just words on a screen. I can't believe you don't get that concept...but okay.

I mean...you're the kind of guy that thinks if you yell louder than the other person, you will win a debate. And that's not new either...I've pretty much thought that about you from day one...

I didn't want to put it that way, but since you want to press on...

Lame dude. Just lame. I have better shit to do. You probably should too...but I'm betting you don't...

Late.

Scott Hall in his time, before the drinkie-drinkie caught up with him, was a pretty good wrestler and an enjoyable on-screen character, both as Razor Ramon and as the founding father of the nWo. He perfected dopey facial expressions and could make you laugh when he took control of the mic, and he didn't even have to say a whole lot. He was both a great face and a great heel, and could play either one to perfection. And then of course.....there's his matches. His ladder matches with HBK at Wrestlemania 10 and Summerslam '95, his numerous encounters with Jeff Jarrett and his battles against Harlem Heat with his buddy Kevin Nash, even his match against Stone Cold at Wrestlemania 18, which I feel was very underrated........they were all extroadinary.

But Hulk Hogan is.........Hulk fucking Hogan. There's a very, VERY short list of people who can claim to have been responsible for making wrestling what it is today, and Hogan's name is on it. Wrestling skills aside, he may just be the biggest name in the history of the industry. That is why it should take someone DAMN good to finally be able to knock him out of this tournament, with all due respect to "The Bad Guy".......I don't think it's Hall.

In Round 1 Hogan was against The Big Bossman. They both sucked equally throughout their careers. Hogan won based on popularity. Hall does not suck to Hogan's extent

Hogan may have had his better days as being one of the guys who made wrestling known throughout the mainstream eye and built the WWF up from a wee little territorial fed to the biggest showcase fed in sports entertainment which Vince also helped build aswell, but like Vince said before Vince MADE Hulkamania, but Scott Hall on the other hand is a bigger favorite of mine since he in my own opinion was the true leader and creator of the nWo and his wrestling skills have always been better than Hogan's even durning Hogan's prime, while now he may have some personal demons that he's been suffering from, still we can say both have some personal problems backstage or at home, with Hogan having this really wierd and retarded backstage politics, greediness, and delusions of him not wanting to hang up his tights and retire and as for Hall I've already mentioned that above so thats pretty well been explained. So Hall it is.
