Default Your Diet

What are your Eating Habits PWF? Are you a Vege nut and make sure you eat your daily requirements or do you find yourself spending most of your dining time in a McDonalds?

I'm a pretty light eater, I don't eat much of a Breakfast or Lunch and I usually snack on Health Foods all day like Yogurt and Fruits. I only ever really eat a big dinner and Late Night Supper. I try to keep a somewhat Healthy diet, I've read too many Health books to continuously gorge on Junk Food.

Breakfast is generally cereal or the occasional Egg Beaters stuff on an English muffin.

Lunch usually has to be quick since it's between classes... A turkey sandwich and some Baked Lays is probably the most common, but sometimes I have some sort of microwavable meal.

I fix the majority of our supper meals and they vary greatly... You'll usually find one of the following: chicken, turkey, lean hamburger, salmon, or shrimp incorporated into the main dish. Then a salad or some other vegetable-based side.

Popular snacks are sour cream and onion baked cracker things I adore, oranges, Kudos, or yogurt. I also have a strange obsession with cottage cheese

As far as drinks, when I'm not drinking water, I have Crystal Light lemonade or an occasional Coke Zero... or red wine.

Eating out happens when out of town, usually Chilis, Applebee's, TGI Friday's or Red Lobster. It's terrible for me but oh so yummy. I do get Subway here in town a few times a month though, I love their pickles.

I eat when hungry....generally pretty healthy, our own farm raised beef, chicken, I some times eat cottage cheese with some form of fruit, apples, oranges, kiwi, salads w/o dressing, plain ol' oatmeal........some junk food here and there.

Prior to last year, I ate what I want, when I wanted. Since the wife has started in nursing...that's changed dramatically. I got bloodwork done and all my labs came back absolutely perfect. Glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure...all perfect. The only thing that wasn't in the identified "target range" were my High Density Lipoproteins and Low Density Lipoproteins, which were both LOW.

Still didn't change the fact that I'm on a fucking diet.

I just watch portions now and am working up to running 6 miles a day. Still not a diet, but there's no way I'm eating fucking rabbit food. My motherfucking ancestors did not scratch, claw, fight and climb to the top of the Food Chain for me to become some kind of vegetarian.

I just recently started Dieting. It's crazy how much I put on since school got out. I got my year Gym membership set up last monday and have started working out. I take Creakic, and Cell Tech for building muscle back up. I usually eat breakfast normal. Eggs, toast, you know the Bottom of the pyramid. Then I take my First serving of Creakic. After that for lunch I eat something light depending. Maybe a sub or a sandwhich. Then for supper I usually have a big meal of meat. Don't drink much milk anymore since I started all turned into water but I already lost 1.5 % body fat so its going down which is good.

I have a pretty strict diet. We plan out most of our meals in advance and cook 4 servings per meal. That way we only have to cook 3 nights a week. Sat. we always break the rules. It's like a reward for doing good the rest of the week. Typically, I'll have some sort of fruit at breakfast, a half sandwich or soup or something light for lunch with fruit and vegs and maybe a slimfast bar or something. Dinner is 1/4 protein, chicken/fish/turkey, 1/4 starch (potatoes, bread etc.) and 1/2 vegs. I try to be good because I was getting pretty heavy. Now that I went to all the freaking trouble, I worry about putting the weight back on, so maintaining is a high priority. It's been so cold the last 2 months that we haven't been out for excersize, but will get back on that soon. The only other thing I want to do is keep working on my abs and strengthening my lower back. It's a posture thing I guess. My back just hurts

I only eat like once...maybe twice a day at the most. Its terrible...a habit I picked up while working in IT...and its one that's been really hard to break.
