Default 2006 PWF End of Year Awards

So here ya go hookers, after all the voting here be the award winners for 2006.

We start with the whole reason PWF is suppose to be based. Wrasslin. The WWE forum saw a huge amount of traffic this year and it helped that new posters joined. However, the old faithful of PWF showed strong support as well. The nominees for WWE Poster of the Year are:

Exo: His fued with Stan (UT) made a lot of waves in the WWE forum. They debate about whether John Cena is a failure or a hit was classic.

Forgotten Sin: Always around to post the play by play Sin was dependable to keep you up to date during PPVs.

reesecal: Bringing new life, you can almost guarentee that reesecal was going to be in the WWE forum posting a new thread daily.

Stick: His arguement with The One about Smackdown being better than Raw spanned more than just the WWE forum. Stick also brought out his support for Rey Mysterio winning the World Title.

The Glue: Despite his obsession with RVD, Glue is always good to give a harsh reality to the way he sees the wrestling world today.

and the winner is.

Stick with 37% of the vote.

-----------------------

The WWE forum saw a new subforum come into its own as WWE introduced ECW as a separate brand. Thus the powers that be at PWF decided that ECW should have it's own forum. With the new show came a lot of new discussion. In fact the ECW forum has been more active than the TNA forum. So here are the nominees for ECW Poster of the Year:

David: I mean really his skeptical approach is always interesting.

DrDoom: A newcomer who made sure to post at all times in the ECW forum.

Forgotten Sin: Hey he was nominated

reesecal: A huge fan of ECW and always posting a thread about the current week's show

The Glue: A huge ECW fan but skeptical about this new incarnation.

and the winner is:

reesecal with 38% of the vote.

------------------

TNA has been like a redheaded stepchild in the wrestling forums at PWF. Going weeks without a new post the forum seemed all but dead. When the ECW forum came into its own, it looked all but bleak for TNA. However TNA got a boost when it went Primetime, when Kurt Angle left the WWE to go there and when Sting appeared on camera. With the forum alive again, here are the TNA Posters of the year:

Forgotten Sin: He carried the forum when no one else seemed interesting in going in there. Sin made sure that every Impact Spoiler and PPV was posted.

reesecal: Hey I don't know if he even post in there but someone nominated the guy.

Spear: He nominated himself, so go figure

Stick: Stick saw a TNA house show live and got several autographs.

The Glue: Glue hates TNA (except for LAX), so why did he get nominated?

and the winner is:

Forgotten SIn with 71% of the vote.

-------------------------

The WWE, ECW and TNA forums aren't the only wrestling forums to see new threads. The IWO efed returned this year and with the first 6 months seeing more and more people join than ever before the efed is striving. The nominees for IWO Wrestler of the Year are:

Corey Taylor: The psycho slipknot frontman carried the IWO on his back by winning the vacated World Title. He held the title the longest this year, and his fueds have been entertaining.

DC: Winning the TV Title twice and becoming a 2 time Hardcore Champion, DC has been maineventing in the IWO since he made it to the finals of the World Heavyweight Tournament. DC lead his team to victory in the first ever Structure of Doom match.

Demon Alexader: He finally achieved gold by winning the TV Title from Primate. Demon's darkside antics have kept him in the main event picture for most of the year. Demon's fued with Joker and Masque have shown just how evil some of the wrestlers are in the IWO.

Troy: The rookie took front and center leading the New Blood to greater heights. Troy has been in the World Title Picture for months, before the disbanning of the New Blood saw him slip into the midcard. His new alliance with Alli Sabbah has given new life to Troy.

Unstoppable Force: after returning to the IWO, he quickly fueded with DC before the two decided to form the Two Man Power Trip. Force has been a roll as he has yet to be pinned or made to tap out. Force became a two time World Champion and looks to carry the company into 2007.

and the winner is:

DC with 49% of the vote.

-----------------------

The IWO may have great wrestlers but it takes great matches for a federation to be successful. The IWO has seen its share but these few really stick out. The nominees for IWO Match of the Year are:

Force vs. DC for the TV Title: This match saw both men give it their all and in the end a time limit draw proved just how even both men are. DC walked away with the Title, but this match put Force on the right path towards the World Title.

Josh vs. Highlight at Turmoil in Texas: The first supershow to take place outside the IWO arena. Josh and Highlight battled in a pinfall count anywhere match. With a little help from his buddy Judge, Josh was able to jump off the top of the video screen and land on a table prone Highlight. Josh won the match and Highlight was given the boot out of the IWO.

Structure of Doom: This match saw two teams captained by DC and Corey. Both teams fought in a double cage-double ring match, that featured barbwire and scaffolds. In the end DC and Force remained as the soul survivors giving DC's team the right to control the IWO for the next 8 weeks.

Troy v. Corey for the World Title: A classic match as both men gave it their all. the rookie sensation against the IWO vet. In the end Corey once again proved to be the best man as he walked out the World Champion.

TV Title Battle Royal: The battle royal was fastpaced, as each superstar had done battle earlier in the night. DC won the Title by not only getting revenge on Force for their match from earlier but by eliminating Troy last to win the belt.

and the winner is:

The Structure of Doom match with 40% of the vote.

----------------------

Wrestling was the main topic on the new hit podcast KPWF radio. Exo returned this year and had an idea. His idea spurned several episodes of KPWF radio featuring the posters of PWF. For the first time several PWFers actual voices were heard. KPWF talked about wrestling but it also gave an inside look into the lives of several PWFers. the nominees for KPWF personality of the year are:

Exo: The man who started the whole damn thing. His laughter can always be heard in the background of every conversation. As the moderate host it's his job to keep the show flowing.

Kurt: Kurt is a regular on the show. His smartass remarks and love for Cincy keeps you on your toes at all times.

Mac: Coming off cool and collective it won't take long before Mac has you bursting with laughter. His quick wit keeps the show alive.

One: One's talk about sports and wrestling brings the heart of what PWF is about. One's debate with Stick is one of the best discussion on KPWF this year.

Prototype: For the first time ever, posters realized that not only did prototype post crazy, but he sounded crazy as well. The toilet sounds transcended to the airwaves as Prototype's debut was full of insults and trash talking.

and the winner is:

Exo with 39% of the vote.

--------------------

In recent years PWF has seen an influx in tournaments. In 2006 this wasn't the case. Although the tourney craze has come and went, some tourneys still remain alive. the nominees for tourney of the year are:

Greatest Match of All Time: Probally the largest tournament ever at PWF, the tourney seen a new administrator. DC passed the reigns over to Joe the Wineaux who was rewarded with a mod spot. Joe not only keep the tourney alive after it seemed to have hit a lull, but also saw to it that a winner was crowned.

Off-topic Non-Popularity Contest: The first ever non popularity contest saw two different winners. As the overall champion was crowned, so was the current. It truely gave PWF the chance to say who sucked the most.

Off-Topic Popularity Contest 5: The 5th installment came down to the wire. Last year saw Kurt win the damn thing for a 2nd time, and getting his 2nd win in 3 years. Both Kurt and DC the OTPC 3 winner were highly favored to win. The contest saw Stick bribe everyone to not vote for him, costing him to lose and then see Stick prove that his bribe was fake. the finals saw DC lose to Glue in a well deserve victory.

and the winner is:

the OTPC5 with 54% of the vote.

------------------------

PWF wouldn't be PWF without its individual forums. Each forum brings a unique and different look to PWF. There are posters that only go in 1 forum some in every forum, but rest assure their is always something going on. the nominees for forum of the year are:

Graphics: Competitions are alive again in the forum. Not only that but if you need a snazzy banner this is the place to go.

IWO: The efed has returned and the forum boast weekly shows.

Offtopic: Come here to talk about anything. Off Topic is full of post, most recently posts about shit.

Warzone: The fights forum. While it was considered dead, two huge fueds came out of it. Alex v. Alex's family, and Extremist v. PWF. The action even picked up later this year when Alex returned to form the lil niggas.

WWE: The wrestling forum has dominated PWF and with new posters arriving daily, the forum continues to grow with activity.

and the winner is:

OT with 50% of the vote.

--------------------

Hey you got a suggestion? You know how to make PWF better? Go ahead try. While some suggestions got heard and even came to life, some never made it past the post that suggested them. the nominees for suggestion of the year are:

All Search Items: Yeah did this even happen?

Colored Usernames: I haven't seen any on the ambience.

ECW: well at least this forum came about.

Hot Men: pyXL? Like we need a forum just for him.

Smilies: New ones, added. can we get some more of these?

and the winner is:

Colored Usernames with 35% of the vote.

---------------------

PWF runs pretty smooth but sometimes spammers show up or some posters get out of hand. When this occurs or when there is a problem or something needs to be added it is up to the mods to take care of it. The nominees for mod of the year are:

DC: The supermod who for most of 2006 was the only supermod at PWF. His goal to ban more people than Trev has not been successful.

Forgotten Sin: The mod of TNA and General Wrestling is always posting in the forums to keep them alive.

The Glue: The newly appointed Supermod, used his banning powers to ban people for just a weekend.

Trev: the banning Nazi. The admin who is always around to clean up SC's mess

Xero: as the OT mod, he has to make sure that all the new bots quit spamming up the board.

and the winner is:

DC with 50% of the vote.

------------------------

While PWF is inhabited by mostly male posters, there are a few female posters that gets the board's attention. (and has Dade probally whacking off everytime they post ) the nominees for PWF DIva of the Year are:

Brandy: Xero's woman. Always a welcome when she posts.

Monica: the Graphics goddess. She is one of the few female posters to post regulary one the boards.

Sparx: The newcomer brought new graphics and a love affair with Spear.

Steph: Queen Steph to you! The original PWF diva returned this year to huge fanfare.

Thriller: Yeah she showed up and started a whole discussion on Michael Jackson.

and the winner is:

Steph with 39% of the vote.

------------

I will give you all a chance to mull this part over and come back with the 2nd of 3 parts, oh yeah hookers!

The Warzone Forum was full of fights this year. Several posters have contributed to the forums. In the closest voting of the year, the voters of PWF were torn between several posters. With Stick officially declaring that the Warzone was dead to him, he was not nominated, but here are the nominees for Warzone Poster of the Year:

Alex: His fued with his own family brought many laughs. His return seen him create the lil niggas and even talk Stick into joining a group that is now fueding within itself for control.

Boston: When the Warzone gets slow, leave it to B-Lo to make a post. No matter what might be going on, Boston is always a sure bet to make a thread in the forum.

Extremist: This sorry ass bitch, sucked all kinds of ass in the Warzone getting pwned by the whole fucking board.

Mickey Deeznuts: The poster who posts with a question, once again brought the laughter and the confusion.

Prototype: Once again the controversial Prototype caused an uproar. The double teaming of Proto and Mickey D on Josh was a classic fued at the beginning of the year.

and the winner is:

Mickey Deeznuts with 26% of the vote.

------------------

But the posters aren't the only ones that make up the Warzone. It's the fueds. But sometimes a fued will start outside the WZ and actually be brought out into other forums. Here are the nominees for Fued of the Year:

Alex v. Alex's Family: Alex was "ran off" The boards when an attack by his family made him feel insuperior. Alex's Father the arab, his mother the crackwhore, his sister the trailer park hooker, and even his psychatrist showed up to wage a battle on the forsaken Alex.

Boss v. Mad Cluth: the phrase transcended PWF. Mad Cluth, Mad Diesel, hell even banners were made and in the end Boss was embarrased.

Exo v. Stan: Exo returned and UT made it a point to attack him in threads especially in the WWE forum. Exo then battled his stalker "stan" and even made a poll about who was right when it came to Cena being a failure or not.

Extremist v. PWF: The entire PWF community joined together and gave the biggest e-ass whopping in what might the history of the internet to this little prick. Extremist was nega-repped like never before, and even banned several times just for enjoyment. Eventually he just seemed to have disappeared.

PWF v. wild4wrestling: the battle of two forums. When a PWF poster (WPG I think) Went to these forums something happened that made a few of their members come here including the so called admin jake. Taking charge Reb embarrased this asshole and then set all of PWF to wild4wrestling. With Trev and DC "F-5 the index forums" as Glue would say, the rest of PWF attacked their board. Shutting down their stupid ass chat box.

and the winner is:

Extremist v. PWF with 44% of the vote.

----------------------

Now comes the time to crown the Worst Poster of 2006. While the OTNC helped a lot, the voters of PWF have changed their views. The nominees are:

Alex: His return was met with a difference of opinion, but his earlier behavior in 2006 made him one of the worse.

Badabing: this guy has contributed nothing to the forums and his gangsta gimmick just sucks.

Extremist: His posting speaks for its self.

Highlight: Embarrased and eventually ran off the board, Highlight returned with new fervor later in the year.

Rated R: A noob who started out getting lashed out at, before eventually turning things around.

The winner is:

Extremist with 62% of the vote.

--------------------------

While most people hope that the worse posters leave, several people look forward to good posters coming back. The best comeback of the year nominees are:

Alex: His return was uneasy, but his formation of the lil niggas won some people over.

Exo: Upon Returning Exo created KPWF.

Kurt: His annual return was once again loved by several

Mac: What also seems to be an annual event returned as he joined Kurt on KPWF.

Steph: The Queen returned and once again the guys swoon.

Sub: His return was not highly publicized, but a PWF vet was greatly appreciated.

WPG Juggalo: A write in vote, he brought the Jacob goodnight character back with him and PWF then proceeded to anally rape his friend.

and the winner is:

Exo with 39% of the vote.

-----------------

Sometimes you don't have to leave PWF and comeback to reinvent yourself. A new gimmick is always a welcome change. From past gimmicks like Asshole to a current Gimmick like Smiling Bob, posters at PWF give new life to the boards with a gimmick. the gimmick of the year nominees are:

Big Brother: Glue's gimmick saw him as the guy that overlooked what you did. Threatening to always be watching you, Glue actually boarded on creepy.

Mr. Bean: The gimmick by Townduke saw him wear the Mr. Bean Av, and I guess post like him?

Nature Boy: the first of two gimmicks nominated that were used by Mac. Going around whooing in threads and even taking the gimmick onto KPWF have brought the Ric Flair gimmick to life.

Spearit Squad: Despite the fact that Spear liked the Spirit Squad, he still managed to work his username into the gimmick. Although he didn't cheer much as everyone expected.

Walken: Mac's other gimmick. Talking just like Christopher Walken and sporting a crazy av, made several people appreciate those who actually try out gimmicks.

and the winner is:

Nature Boy with 42% of the vote.

-------------------

Some people don't need gimmicks to get by at PWF. Some depend on their looks. And so the people of PWF voted on the Best Looking poster of the year. Here are the nominees:

Reb
Side Effect
Steph
Stick
Townduke

and the winner in a no brainer:

Steph with 79% of the vote.

------------------

Speaking of hot women, the Hot Women Forum seem to have died this year, but was revived later in the year. After going through a mod change, it seemed that the forum would be okay, but soon it just fell apart. But some posters wanted to make a change and they did. Here are the nominees for Hot Women poster of the year:

Boston: His pics of Brittany Spears' Junk made everyone check out the thread.

Mr Monday Night: Ummm, i think he browsed the forum alot.

Ninja: The new mod who posted threads with red x's in them.

Townduke: He worked overtime getting the forum back on its feet

Wanderer: His return to the forum helped generate more posts.

and the winner is:

Townduke with 40% of the vote.

--------------------

Whether you are discussing Women or shitting or cars, or even high school the Off Topic forum is where it probally is happening. Several disscussions take place daily in the busiest forum on the board. The Nominees for OT poster of the year are:

DC: His announcements are what makes you people come here. No seriously.

Kurt: You can almost count on a thread to be in the forum started by this guy.

Stick: The king of OT, stick has probally posted more in the forum about shit than anyone else.

The Glue: The former mod of the forum has posted such gems such as Red Stripe.

Xero: the mod of the OT, fuck up and he will delete your sorry ass thread.

and the winner is:

Stick with 36% of the vote.

--------------------

These awards are no game hookers. However if it were then this thread would probally be in the Games and Tech Forum along with the nominees for G&T poster of the year:

David: He's always asking for opinion about some kind of game and leave it to him to make a thread about once a week.

Forgotten Sin: Sin had the SVR06 League but then it died.

Kurt: Why was he nominated?

Stick: His love of the Xbox 360 was almost sickening.

Xero: This guy is the tech guru of PWF, if you don't know ask him.

and the winner is:

Xero with 36% of the vote.

---------------------

You see that fly banner I got? You want one? Then you should check out the graphics forum, where one of these nominees for Graphics Poster of the Year could hook you up:

Monica: The Queen of Graphics and current mod keeps the forum up and running.

Side Effect: His graphics have been improving and he has been in several competitions.

Stick: His banners are always known especially for featuring 3 6 Mafia or video games.

The Glue: His FUCK banners are a new trend.

Xero: His banners are outstanding and he can create almost anything.

and the winner is:

Monica with 39% of the vote.

------------------

Since we know the best poster of the year, what about the most improved. Several graphics posters have made their works better as the year went by. Here are the nominees for Most Improved Graphics poster of the year:

David: He made some most improved banners this year.

Side Effect: His banners are getting better and better.

The Glue: Working mostly with Sports Glue has proven that his banner can be colorful both in looks and language.

Troy: Many say he has come a long way.

Xero: Ummm...they say he has improved.

and the winner is:

Troy with 29% of the vote.

The family feud was nothing more than a couple of stupid alts people made when I was feuding with the entire site. Trust me I know a thing or two about the Warzone, and in me opinion that isn't even a footnote in the forum's history.

Me vs. Me Family? No seriously, what space cadet nominated that shit? Let's have a quick rundown of some of this year's feuds which were a BILLION times more significant than that... Alex vs. PWF, Nucca Rampage, Lil Nigga Rampage, Niggas vs. Monday Night, Niggas vs. Glen, and I'd even put Boystar vs. Harry Fuckin Potter over that... I must've missed something if people actually consider the Family Feud funny...

btw i was robbed of every award i was nominated for no doubt about it

but i won a great amount of awards last year, i think three, so im good

The final stretch of the awards. And when you are looking for a race, or game or sporting event then it's the sports forum for you. Whether it was Bonds chasing homers, Cincy, cleveland, cowboys, or hockey there is always something to talk about. the nominees for sports poster of the year are:

Reb: The Cowboy fan changed his username to ROMOSEXUAL implying that he had a mancrush on Tony Romo, this following his mancrush on Axl Rose and Chad's Hair.

Spear: His lion's obsession is crazy, but Spear is dedicated to this forum.

Steph: The Queen of Sports has shown that liking Papi's is just as easy as liking Yankees.

Stick: Another Cowboys fan, Stick always has some good thoughts when it comes to sports.

Glue: He brings his views of the Browns with him in every thread, and he is the first to admit when something is wrong with his team.

and the winner is:

Spear with 28% of the vote.

-----------------

While You don't have to be athletic to be a sports poster, you have to be smart to be a MOTM poster. The forum that is sometimes forgotten by PWF as it is lodged in some dark corner of OT, these poster make intellectual conversation on all sorts of political and worldy issues. the nominees for MOTM poster of the year are:

BAMF: Mostly a poster that didn't get noticed, BAMF came into his own in 2006. His conversations in MOTM didn't hurt either.

Double K: Known for his graphics, KK spent the majority of his posting time in the MOTM forum in 2006.

Joe the Wineaux: Always sarcastic, Joe can make you take notice of even the smallest situation.

The Glue: His views are always respected, and gives a different approach to the way you see things.

Trev: Always nominated in this catagory, when he isn't dispatching of stupid coworkers, Trev is discussing shit.

and the winner is:

Trev with 35% of the vote.

-----------------

The Best Idea is an award that is hard to win. It taks some time and thought to come up with an idea that will be remembered in the brains of PWFers. the nominees for best Idea are:

KPWF: The podcast thought up by Exo. It garnered rave reviews.

Lil Niggas: Alex returned and brought together several white boys for a rap reunion in the warzone.

Negarepping Extremist: The idea of negarepping someone so much that they recieved Negajewstars, made this moron a part of PWF history.

OTNC: the brain child of The Glue and executed by DC, this tourney determined who was the worse poster in PWF history.

Return of the Efed: The IWO was reborn, and given new life.

and the winner is:

KPWF with 47% of the vote.

-------------------

You have to be Creative to come up with ideas...among other things. the nominees for Most Creative Poster of the year are:

DC: His ideas have included this damn award thing, as well as his work with the efed.

Exo: he is the founder of KPWF.

Kurt: he always has some bright ideas.

Mac: his gimmicks are some of the best around.

The Glue: Bright Ideas for Stupid People since 1979.

and the winner is:

I nominated myself, and I stand by the integrity of my decision to do so.

I do believe the people have spoken...

I don't mean to interrupt but PWF v. wild4wrestling was AWESOME. If anyone's got an update as to if they're still around or not, that'd be fuckin' hilarious...
