Default Grandpa Broke His Back

My 87 year old Grandpa underwent an MRI today to try and figure out why his legs and back have been bothering him.

They found several fractured vertebrae.

What the christ?

How does that even happen?

Ever had anything this strange come up in your family?

That sucks, I hope he gets better soon.

My grandpa has had his fair share of weird health issues. Spinal stinosis (sp), random pain to the point of which he can't walk. I can't even list it all.

A few years ago, on a regular summer day my dad had a heart-attack, I had no idea anything was wrong, my step-mother said they were going somewhere, and I thought nothing of it until she called me from the hospital a couple hours later and explained what happened... and typically, you associate a heart-attack with death, based on what you see in the movies... so the original reaction was difficult, going from hanging out with your father over the weekend, and everything being fine... to him being dead the next day.

Fortunately they made the right decision by electing to take him to the hospital, he had to stay for a couple days, they ran some tests, told him not to do a bunch of things he does on a regular basis, and that was that.

Thanks guys.

Apparently they're going to inject some sort of cement-glue into his vertebrae and he'll be on his feet fairly soon.

Sorry man, hope he feels better. My granma is always falling over and eating shit. Broken collar bone, broken hip, and she can't walk backwards and stuff. I don't even know all the stuff that's wrong with her. Some form of Parkinsons and all. God, I can't even think about it. But we hung out over Christmas. Don't think she's going to be around that much longer though

My grandmother fell one night going to the bathroom. She wasn't found until the next morning.

She had crushed some discs in her back and was pretty much paralysed for the rest of her life, which didn't last long after her accident.

Hope your granda's OK, Trev.

Damn. Hope everything turns out well for you.

As for my family. I'm the one with the strange illnesses right now. Ever sense I moved down to Florida, I've been getting diarrea every few weeks. It fucking sucks. I've missed ten days of school already because of it. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE to stay home, especially when the alternative is that shit-hole, (no pun intended), but damn. Laying in bed all day and having your stomach cramp up every two minutes is awful. I don't know how it happend either. It's like, I show up, and two weeks later this cycle begins. I'm actually thinking fuckin Waffle House did it. I was forced to eat their sorry excuse for food on the drive down. A couple of days later, I start getting sick. Funny ehe?

So yeah. That's my story.
