Cool I'm going to Arizona!

Not necessarily for a good cause, but I'm going there in December... my brother and his wife split up like last week, and seeing as Christmas is coming up soon anyways, and he's gonna be getting leave to come home, I'm gonna fly down there sometime next month, and we're gonna drive back... it should be a fun trip, closest that I've gotten to the West Coast of the United States... the only thing I'm not really looking forward to is the heat.

When was the last time you flew on a plane? Where was it to? Were you nervous?

its a dry heat...so its not so bad

Last time I flew was a fuckin tiny plane from Louisville to Dayton....stupid connection flight.
I was nervous as hell just cuz the seats were so damn small the lady next to me was practically in my lap.

the last real trip I took was out to Cali...its a great place...the bay area is beautiful no matter what Trev may tell you.

The last time I was in a plane was about a year ago, I went from Cleveland to St. Louis. No I wasn't nervous.

myth.....100 degrees is hot, dry or not....

last time I flew was also the first time I flew....I had to go to Scottsdale, AZ for a business meeting with GMAC Financial.....May of 2002.....I spent four days there (including Mother's Day ).....I told the travel agent "please get me on the biggest plane you can find and as far away from the windows as possible".....

I was really nervous, to the point that I was scared.....once we got up in the air, though, I didn't find it to be too bad of an experience.....

but I believe he said he would be going in Winter time, the temps should be much lower, and like I said without all the moisture in the air, it should be nice.

100 degrees anywhere else is nothing if you have been in New Orleans for 100 degrees. I swear that they tell you 100 degrees when its more like 140 out there.

He's right. I know 100 degrees is hot, dry heat or not, but I went to Phoenix in July of 2001, and it wasn't THAT bad.

I flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Detroit last month. I wasn't scared.

Last time I was on a plane was Dec. 1997 and I was going from Newark, NJ to Rome Italy. It was the first and last time I was on a plane. The trip was 7 hours there and 9 hours back, it was a long a boring trip on the way there and on the way back. I was just alittle bit nervous while taking off and landing because of the way the plane would move but other than that it was smooth sailing.

I flew about 6 weeks ago to go to Pensacola, FL for my job. Our 2nd largest manufacturing facility was hit hard by Hurricane Ivan and I had to go down there to replace some PC's. I flew out of Akron-Canton Airport on a tiny ass connections flight to Atlanta and took a much bigger jet to Pensacola. That trip was hell.
