rolleyes Electronic voting rides again

Yes you heard me right. Electronic voting will be back in action this year. The very same system that caused a sensation in 2000 is back. The same system that gave Gore -16,024 votes in florida, the same system that counted 144,000 votes on a 19,000 people city, the same one tha double counted votes in North Dakota and crashed multiple times in Virginia. Yes it's back and they claim all their errors have been fixed....... yeah right

Florida's systems are already experiencing problems with the software used on these pieces of work. They invested 25 million dollars in Florida only and now they have to pay the company for the patch to solve the problem wich is calculated around 600,000 dollars. But thats not all these systems have not been under quality testing as much as you expect it to be, in fact the slot machines in Las Vegas go under more quality testing than the electronic voting system.

The company claims they did independent testings and said the software was reliable... Thats easy to say when you pay the company with your own money. The goverment has not bothered to have the software tested and even if they do their access to the software will be extremely limited since the whole voting system is not a trade secret making it literaly untouchable. And I haven't touched Walden O. Dell who helped Bush win in Ohio and has direct relationship with the very same company.

This is not a rant this is a warning so you would expect all kinds of crap happening on election day.

I don't like electronic voting. Seems too easy to fix the results of the election.
