Why is wearing a wwe t-shirt to the poles on election day a federal offence?

It was not really that. It was really nothing more than wearing the shirt = Linda McMahon, because of her work with the company, and poll workers can turn away people wearing stuff supporting one candidate or another.

To be honest though, I think all of that is just plain stupid. If someone wants to wear a shirt supporting one candidate or another to the polls on election day, just to vote, that should be no problem.

No, it's illegal to distribute merchandise on election day near poling stations, especially when one of the people running has ties with the company that's distributing the merch. I't can be percieved as campaigning and campaigning during election day is ILLEGAL. There is a cutoff date for campaigning

Seriously,to teach these ridiculous smear-mongers a lesson, someone should show up wearing a peice of WWE merch as every bit of their outfit...shirt,jacket,hat,glasses,shorts and underwear....they ask you to remove the WWE merch and turns out you only have your sneaks on and SUPPORT LINDA MCMAHON written all over you flesh LOL
