Default What was the point of the Mable(Viseceria) winning the King of the Ring?

Most of the people that won it went on either become a much bigger player in wrestling(Owen and Billy Gunn come to mind)or they become future World Champions(Triple H,Austin,Angle,Brock Lesner,Edge)

What about the King Mable reign though?

I mean the most he accomplished was having a fairly good feud with Taker where he ended up putting the Deadman out for awhile. After that though he never really did anything else.He jumped from being in NOD and the Ministry ,but he was never really a key member of either group.

regal was a good choice really as he did fairly well, byut the drugs caught up to him and that derailed that.

Well why not of put it on the Moe guy I mean it all would of amounted to same.My memory is a little fuzzy how did ECW have anything to do with year Mable won tyhe King of the ring.

They probably thought branding him as King Mable would get him over, but in that case, it failed.

So he could drop the rapper gimmick -- Men on a Mission. And Billy Gunn is the reason why they stopped the KOTR.....nobody wants to see another failure like that.

the 1995 KOR, I remember watching this unfold on WWF Superstars at the time. He was popular, fans loved him, they wanted to initiate the Attitude Era with his heel turn. Unfortunately he could not sell anything. No one believed in him, he became the Lyin King. He promised a lot more than he could deliver. Any way that is why Austin won KOR 1996. He was bad before he won, After he won Attitude started offically.
