Why do you think everybody loves Battle Royals/Royal Rumbles so much?

I think it's because it gives them a chance to see all of their favorite wrestlers in one match. Such as Cena, Orton, HHH, Sheamus, Edge, Jericho, Undertaker, CM Punk, Morrison. A lot of star power in those matches.

Because they like to see all the wrestlers trow each other over the top rope.

....in theory anybody can win + said winner gets the #1 contender spot for a championship match.

Royal Rumble = good

World War 3 = bad

I like them because I get to see all the great (some not so great) superstars at once and it gives everyone an opprotunity to form alliances and take out certain ones. It just holds a lot of action and co operation.

Because we get the opportunity to see just about all of our favorite Superstars or Divas having in-ring competition at the same time. I especially like it because the Superstars/Divas that I wouldn't normally see on an episode of Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown get some deserved airtime.

I have always liked the sense of elimination-based game types for no apparent reason at all. Plus, battle royals give off a sense of anybody can win, and honestly, you don't know who would win until it is all said and done.

1 reason is, depending on elimination order, you get to see 2-3 wrestlers in the ring at the same time, who normally you wouldn't get to see together.

Remember the Royal Rumble 2009, RVD made a surprise entry and was in with the same time as Undertaker?

That was great and we didn't nor will we see it again.

Also, a battle royal can be a way to push a midcarder or younger talent, if used right.
