Ruthless Aggression cause it was decent storyline, and great wrestling

I think the attitude era is overrated it was just good promos and famous for doing stunts

I kinda like all, but mostly it's the Attitude Era and Ruthless Agression and the The Golden Era.

I will put them in order.

1. The Golden Era

It was when we were watching too much of pure wrestling and less of blah blah and corny segments. It was back then, when most of the professional wrestlers had the wrestling backround and knew how to sell a promo. The guys from the most recent eras, study on promos and skills of the wrestlers from the golden era. We saw Ricky Steamboat feuding with Ric Flair on NWA(one of my favorite rivalries of all time). Guys like Bret Hart, Flair, Savage wrestled their way to the top. It was basically the era that wrestling became a world-wide phenomenon.

2.New Generation

We saw new faces rising like HBK Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Owen Hartand a lot more who later established themselves. We were seeing great matches, the gimmick matches were starting to be introduced on the wrestling scene and more interesting storylines were appearing each time.

3.Ruthless Agression

It was a tough jump from the Attitude Era. Because people like The Rock, Steve Austin who were basically the top stars during the attitude era, were either gone, or planning to retire. WWE found a way to push rightfully guys like Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Brock Lesnar, Edge and more. As far as the WWE goes, i enjoyed it from 2002 till 2005, then its downhill started imo. TNA started to grew and gave us an alternative company to follow once in a while. New Japan Pro Wrestling starting becoming a regular weekly show(at least in my country) and generally we were seeing a lot of good wrestling matches and feuds.

4.Attitude Era

If anyone says that he didn't have fun he didn't laugh during the attitude era, is either a liar or he has a pretty unique(in a weird way) taste. Attitude era was awesome, pretty funny and entertaining promos, lots of interesting storylines, many many gimmick matches, but the negative thing was that the tv time was filled with all of the above, and it was less wrestling than ever. If any promotion ever, can mix the attitude era's funny promos and the golden era's fabulous deep promos, along with a pretty good amount of actual wrestling/fighting time, then it will be a perfect combination to watch.

5.PG Era

I have been enjoying wrestling for around a decade. I have seen matches/videos/promos from previous decades too and i have studied on wrestling a lot, is it random?..the fact that i sort of lost my interest on wrestlling by 2009??! I don't think so. Hopefully things will get improved in either WWE/TNA. As far as New Japan Pro Wrestling goes, i am not complaining. Whenever i get the chance(once in a week most of the times), i sit on the couch, drinking a beer, and enjoying their shows.

great question!
