King Cliff says Believe It! is on a distinguished road
Default WWE Monday Night RAW Episode 1 (Rate and Give Opinions)?

To open the show, out comes the RAW GM, Vince McMahon. Vince is smirking while he walks to the ring with Shane, Linda and Stephanie McMahon. He talks about his power, he says that he's the god of wrestling business. He says he knows the most. He says that he is like a father to everyone of you puppets. Vince is booed throughout the segment. The McMahon family all get turns at creating heat. Then the odd one out. Triple H makes his way to the arena. HHH gets a mixed reaction after his sneak attack on Randy Orton last week. HHH laughs, and then says that Vince is absolutely right. He says he hates the fans, HHH hates the puppets. HHH calls them sheep when they should be blockers. HHH says that Orton deserved everything he got last week and HHH admits that he is siding with the McMahon clan. HHH offers an hand shake to Vince and Vince accepts. Randy Orton then comes out. Orton says he's disgusted with Triple. He says HHH was an icon who everyone looked up to and now he's sunk low by siding with the boss. Orton says he was right. Triple H, you slept your way to the top! said Orton. HHH smiles. Orton then goes for HHH but security come out and take him away. Vince then announces that Randy Orton will be defending his WWE Championship at Vengeance against Triple H.

Match 1

The Great Khali vs. Local Wrestler.

Winner: The Great Khali dominated the match and ended it with his signature chokeslam in 2 minutes. After the match, Khali says he wants a challenge. Bobby Lashley then comes out. Lashley says he accepts Khali's challenge. Lashley-Khali announced for RAW next week.

Backstage is Triple H, whom is yelling at Vince saying he never slept his way to the top. Vince tells HHH to calm down. Vince tells him to win at Vengeance. Or he will be getting a divorce slip and splitting up HHH and Stephanie!

Match 2: John Cena vs. Dashing Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Ted DiBiase.

Winner: John Cena held his own throughout the match and had a number of occasions where he was set to win the match. But the numbers game caught up and DiBiase picked up the win with Dream Street, Nexus then come out and get into the ring. Out comes John Morrison, Bobby Lashley, Christian, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, Evan Bourne and Bryan Danielson who chased them off. Nexus stood at the top. Barrett, Otunga, Sheffield, Harris, McGillicutty, Tarver, Gabriel and Slater all had turns of speaking, Barrett then challenges Cena and his team for an 8 on 8 tag match at Vengeance. Cena and his team nod. Game on. Barrett then says if Nexus win. Cena has to join Nexus. If Cena's team wins, Nexus is...HISTORY!

Match 3: Christian vs. Wade Barrett with Nexus and Team WWE as lumberjacks.

This was an evenly contested match with both Nexus and Team WWE getting involved. Team WWE and Nexus ended up brawling all over the place at ringside which distracted Christian. Barrett then hit Wasteland on Christian and got the 3 count. Barrett and Nexus then escaped the drama and ran off.

Winner: Wade Barrett.

Backstage is The Undertaker who is looking for Edge who speared him at Backlash costing him the WWE Championship against The Big Show 3 months ago putting Taker out of action. Edge ends up attacking Taker from behind. The segment ended with a huge spear by Edge sending Taker through a wall.

Match 4: Michelle McCool vs. Kelly Kelly

Winner: Kelly Kelly.

Backstage Triple H is talking to Stephanie. They start making out on the couch. HHH strips off Stephanie and Vince walks in. Vince orders HHH to get the hell out. HHH isn't really on Vince's good side.

Match 5: Randy Orton and Chris Jericho vs. Triple H and Shane McMahon

Very good back and forth match with some arguments with Triple H and Shane. Vince was at ringside for the match, seemingly helping Orton and Jericho which got HHH mad. The ending came when Jericho hit the codebreaker on Shane, HHH then hit the pedigree on Jericho and then Orton went for an RKO on HHH but Vince pulled the referee out of the ring, Vince then handed HHH his sledgehammer. HHH then hit Orton over the head with the sledgehammer for the 3 count, Vince entered the ring and celebrated with HHH and Shane. Stephanie then comes out. HHH and Stephanie kiss. Orton is rolled out by officials as the McMahon family stands tall to end the show.

Winners: Triple H and Shane McMahon.

Great build up for Vengeance and the card is looking good so far. Especially looking forward to the 8 on 8 tag team match, looks like a real show stealer. Best matches of this show were Orton/Jericho vs Triple H/Shane and Christian vs Wade Barrett. Two great matches and I also can't wait to see what other matches you put on the Vengeance card.

Overall: 9/10. Great show.
