because they do not know the history of the business.

you can add HHH as well to the list , in wCw before going to WWE.

That is the 'brainwashing' way of WWE that wish to never mention peoples history outside the 'WWE universe'.

Most kids that are now fans of WWE was not even out of nappies when wCw w as the biggest wrestling show in the late 90's

People saying that WWE changed their gimmicks and characthers , lets look at the list :

Stone Cold (made him worse to start with his characther and gimmick The Ringmaster - comapred to wCw and ECW Austin you see on WWE was Heymans creation for him in ECW)

Chris Jericho (same characther and name in wCw and ECW)

Rey Mysrerio (same as wCw and ECW)

Rob Van Dam (same as ECW)

Kane (took them about 4 different characthers with Glen Jacobs untill they chose Kane - worst one was IssacYankem the Dentist)

The Dudley Boyz (same gimmick style as ECW)

Tommy Dreamer (no different than ECW)

Rhino (all they changed was his name from rhYno)

Chris Benoit (same as ECW and wCw)

Booker T (exactly the same as in wCw)

The Big Show (just changed his name from The Giant)

The Hurricane (started in WWE same as wCw)

Perry Saturn (same characther and gimmick in wCw)

Because when WWE did it,the Superstars were still in their prime.Aside from Kurt,Jeff and Mr.Kennedy,Total Nonstop Action mostly hired some of WWE Legends.Wrestlers who were WAY past their prime were stepping back in the ring again.

Also, when wrestlers came from World Championship Wrestling or Extreme Championship Wrestling,it was a step up,not a step down.

Yeah, but the difference is WWE took those people and made them over into something brand new that was unique to WWE and totally different than their other personas. TNA takes people and keeps their gimmicks exactly the same (like Mr. Kennedy) and/or hires them specifically to drone on about mean and rotten WWE really is (like Tommy Dreamer).

TNA isn't using these people to build their company they are using them to cash in on WWE's notoriety . It makes them look bush league and small time compared to the WWE.

Because they have no knowledge of WWE doing that..i will say that WWE did make superstars better by bringing them to their company..think about it, WWE created Stone Cold Steve Austin and made him a household name..same with HHH, Kane, The Big Show, Lita, Rey Mysterio and Booker T..they just improved the identity of the superstars..WCW made them big, WWE made them BIGGER..when TNA signs superstars from WWE, WWE has already established them as great superstars and people hate it because they say that TNA is stealing the WWE's creations..people hate because they say that TNA should have their own homegrown talent..it's just a topic that can be debated back and forth for hours..

yeah like others say, those were in their prime and thats why wwe sign them, while tna, as soon as a wwe superstar/diva gets released, all u hear are rumours of former wwe superstars joining tna, wwe only has couple of former tna wrestlers, but wwe are wise, kaval is very talented, same goes for conquences creed and dunno why braden walker was even sign, because he got released in less than a month

Because Vince McMahon says so, most fans believe that because the WWE is the largest promotion in the world, it must be the best. Because Vince says so.

You can go all the way back to Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper, and Andre The Giant as big-names Vince signed to start building his WWF, and it continued until WCW went out of business. Every wrestler who entered Vince's WWF came from some other promotion. When Vince took over the WWF it was just a large regional northeast territory, no better (in stature) than promotions such as WCCW, Portland Championship Wrestling, Crockett's territory in the south, the AWA, the Jarrett's promotion in the Tennessee territory, etc. The WWF was just one of MANY territories and promotions in North America.

Through Vince destroying the NWA, the AWA, and killing promotions right and left, and his non-stop unopposed propaganda, he has most of the North American fans believing that the WWE is the best promotion on Earth. By refusing to acknowledge ANYTHING any his employees have done outside of the WWE, he perpetuates the myth that only the WWE matters. Vince is the only promoter on the planet who does that. And because most of his WWE universe do not watch any other promotions they buy into his propaganda and believe the WWE is the best. To the point that they believe a wrestler who leaves the WWE (for ANY reason) got fired because he/she wasn't good enough and thus those misguided fans label them rejects, and if those wrestlers have the audacity to continue their careers in other promotions those misguided fans label them has beens in the attempt to make themselves feel better about a wrestler betraying the WWE for working at other promotions.

It's simple ignorance and non-stop propaganda from the McMahon Marketing Machine.

That's evidenced in the juvenile complaints you read about TNA from those who only watch the WWE.

WWE fans are so conditioned to care about only 3 or 4 main event entertainers (in the WWE) that they focus only on the big names in other promotions (TNA actually, most WWE fans don't seem to know that there are other promotions out there in addition to TNA). I see complaints about Hogan and Flair in answers above, showing that very ignorance. Hogan is the GM, he rarely gets in the ring anymore. Flair is a manager, he too rarely gets in the ring. Both of them put over the younger guys continuously in promos and neither of them hog the spotlight; they appear on-camera about as often as Teddy Long (or Vince when he's around) does (nobody complains about THAT; why is that?). Tommy Dreamer and the other ECW originals have spent a couple of months and a lot of blood putting over the younger guys.

All it is are WWE fans feeling threatened by TNA making up excuses to bash TNA, trying to get everybody to hate TNA and stop watching it.

Nothing more.

I hate it when all companies do it.

But you are right. People have to realize, Companies have to do what is best for there comany, not ther audience.
