It's part of his gimmick, like Abyss carrying around Janice, it's part of his monster heel persona

He began using the bat as a trademark back in WCW. It is kind of like HHH and his sledge hammer. They don't need it because they are awesome by themselves. The hammer and the bat are just basically props.

Sting is a very good technical wrestler I agree, but he doesn't need the baseball bat. It is just the gimmick that he plays as a wrestler.

Why does Undertaker act Dead ?

Because it is his gimmick. Same thing.

Sting gets a lot of credit for being a technical wrestler, and frankly, it's undeserved. The only technical thing the man does is the Sharpshooter/Scorpion Deathlock. The rest of his moveset consists of old school powerhouse and brawling
