I'd say either Taker or Michaels, though that's nothing against Sting, it's just that those two are two of the biggest of all time.

HBK and the Undertaker pretty much carried the WWF all by themselves when WCW had swiped up all of the talent. They worked hard for what they achieved and as far as performance goes, they put on some of the best matches I have ever seen. I might have to go with Michaels as the biggest of the three simply for innovation. A whole lot of special match types and even things that are considered common parts of psychology and performance nowadays were introduced by Michaels, not to mention he pretty much invented and mastered the art of pacing a good match with a smaller dude facing a bigger dude, and that's difficult.

All in their own right. Now the biggest i would have to pick HBK. He has put on classic matches, i mean countless. He could have a 5 star classic with anyone and i mean anyone. He was a total package as a wrestler and performer. he didn't need all the title reigns to be great. I mean think of it he has lost many of time at Mania and he not the guy who is undefeated is known as Mr.Wrestlemania, that says allot

Good question I must say

Sting

Sting was one of the first wrestlers that I can remember hearing about as a kid and I could recognize Sting before I became a wrestling fan. I had never even heard of Shawn Michaels or The Undertaker before I started watching wrestling and getting interested. As a kid I would see Stings face on shirts, masks and other types of merchandise and I thought he was sooo cool. There were probably 5 wrestlers I knew about before becoming a fan like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage and Sting. Plenty of non wrestling fans would recognize Sting over other legends like Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.

That's a tough one but if I had to pick one I'd say Undertaker. Just because he's been a part of so much. The Golden Era of the WWF, The Attitude Era, The Post Attitude and The PG. Whenever you think of wrestling you think of WWE and when you think of WWE you think of the Undertaker. Sting would be the biggest icon but he hasn't done much since the fall of WCW. He's gone to TNA proving that he's not about money but about wrestling and my hats off to Stinger for that but it came at a price and the price he paid was he was not the mainstream performer that he was. He's had some awesome matches with Angle and others in TNA but many people haven't heard much of Sting. He is still the greatest wrestler to never sign with the WWE. And Shawn missed out on the Attitude Era and well coz of that many great possible matches couldn't happen like Shawn vs Rock, Shawn vs Kane in his prime. Also Undertakers streak adds up to his legacy which makes him the biggest icon almost neck to neck with the Immortal Hulk Hogan.
