I honestly believe that some true die hard TNA fans gave up on it when Hogan Bischoff came in on January 4th which saw ratings drop. They haven't increased.

No amount of wrestlers will increase ratings, not 1 wrestler on the face of this planet can increase a company's ratings.

What really increases ratings is exposure to other sponsors and shareholders and how TNA could gain that necessity to advance is by giving such people reason to believe that their money is worth investing in the company.

TNA right now I think are suffering from the catch 22, they spend millions of dollars hiring all the big names hoping that fans will tune in to see them, but that's money they could be using to improve the product's value in terms of presentation.

Let me give you an example... TNA hire Hogan, Bischoff, Sting, Nash, and let's say TNA are paying them $1 million per annum each.

Those 4 wrestlers are on a win/win situation; at the end of their year they will recieve a pay cheque of that amount and be very very happy.

But that hasn't helped TNA.

Reason it hasn't helped TNA is because, even tho they are big name attractions; TNA and it's phylosophy is still the same.... nothing has changed.

Back to the shareholders sponsors, would you invest your money in a company that is standing still?

Ratings come about when interest outside of the wrestling industry is at its highest because that creates a more dynamic approach to the viewers, which in turn will make the product look cool and so will attract more wrestling fans, and outside interest will never happen so long as TNA are sticking to the same phylosophy of hiring superstars who are already known... TNA have been trying that for 5 years, ever since Christian (Cage) signed with them, followed by Kurt Angle, and the ratings are constant, with no rise.

5 years?

TNA are paying out millions for big names and the ratings are not paying divident and they keep doing it.

For TNA to attract high ratings they need to present a product that stands out from everybody else.

If you have a room full of blondes with 1 brunette amongst them, who are you going to focus on?

The brunette because it's different.

That's how sponsers and shareholders and outside potential deals look at it.

Right now, they may as well invest their money in WWE because, TNA is just like WWE except it doesn't have the following behind it like WWE does.

That is how TNA increase ratings. Until TNA truely presents itself as different, it will never be noticed and that's why the ratngs it is attracting exists mainly within the TNA die hards and that is why their ratings have never risen and stayed risen.
