Didn't HBK come closer to ending UT's streak at WM 25 than he did at WM 26?

I thought the WM 25 match was more convincing.

HBK laid the sweet chin on UT a lot more direct and dramatically.

I really thought he had him down for a 3 count.

at WM 26,

they could've done a better job of building up HBK.

After he delivered sweet chin music,

it took him a while to get on top of him for the cover.

It was too obvious that Undertaker was gonna kick out.

WM 25 was the best.

Do you agree?

Agreed.

That night, I KNEW HBK was winning...

Then, he lost.

Wrestlemania 26, I knew Taker was winning.

Both matches were incredible, but their first bout will go down in my book as the best.

I mean...it was their first wrestlemania encounter...and the crowd was split.

They put on a longer match....which proved to be ranked as one of the best EVER.

So, I HAVE to agree that WM 25 was better.

After all, that match alone saved that horrible PPV.

Wrestlemania 25 was the better match I agree, but WM26 was no squash.

I agree. I knew Undertaker was gonna win because why else would they add that stipulation if Shawn wasn't gonna retire? that was an obvious move. They should have had him announce it on Raw the next night.

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 was the better match. It was more original and unexpected. At Wrestlemania 26, everybody knew Michaels was going to kick out of the Tombstone, Last Ride and Chokeslam (Which he did). So their match at Wrestlemania 25 was the better match.

I am a HUGE HBK fan, and i would totally agree with you. alot of people say the best HBK match, Undertaker match, and WrestleMania match ever was that face off at WM26, but theyre AALLLLLL WRROOOOOONG! The better match between the two was indeed at WM25. and for kicks ill throw in this, if you want to see THE BEST HBK match ever, and perhaps the best match you've ever seen in your whole life, then watch HBK VS Kurt Angle at WM21.
