I cant think of one! becuz it always seems when great tag teams split only one of the guys end up being huge stars. (Ex: Edge not Christian, Jeff not Matt not my opinion just facts) I just wanted to see whatcha guys thought about it.

Thanx for clearing dat up for me Mexican Sun. I appreciate it.

Dam it you fucking morons. He means that started out as a tag team.Rated RKO was two former world champions who made a tag team. What the two man power trip? Come on He's talking about like The Rockers,Hardey Boyz,Edge and Christian,M and M,real tag teams.I cannot think of one.Normally it's one or the other and never both,

The British Bulldogs, both Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid went on to be successful in their singles careers.

If it wasn't because of Davey Boy's painkiller addiction problem, and steroid use, which caused WWF and WCW to not see him as reliable, he would've at some point won a World Title in my opinion. He could've won the World Title in the early 90's in WCW. But either way, he still was successful, a former IC title holder, and a classic match in England vs. Bret Hart at Summerslam '92.

Dynamite Kid, went on to have a great singles career in Japan. He had so many classic matches out there, won plenty of singles titles, and is considered by many as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. If anybody thinks it doesn't count cause it's Japan, they are mistaken, cause some of the greatest wrestlers in the world wrestle in Japan, even today. Dynamite Kid had a great singles career, even if it wasn't in the U.S. The titles out in Japan are prestigious, and to win a title out there you most likely a tough person, to be able to wrestle the Japanese strong style.

I disagree with Edge and Christian, Edge has had success as a singles wrestler, and so has Christian. He's a former IC title champ in the WWE, and a former TNA World Champion. To me he's had a successful singles career. Just because WWE decides not to push him doesn't mean his TNA run was a fluke, he did good during his time there.

Dr. Death Steve Williams and Terry Bam Bam Gordy were a tough tag team in the early 90's in WCW. They were also extremely successful singles wrestlers in Japan as well.

I'm sure there's some tag teams I missed as well, that have had success as singles after being a tag team.

If you consider Christian's time in TNA as a success, and considering he and Edge both held world titles at the same time in different promotions, I'd say it was, then EC to a degree.

Sting and Ultimate Warrior used to be the Blade Runners prior to their times as singles competitors, and they both put their names in the books as memorable world champions.

The Blade Runners. They both went on to be World Champions at the same time.

Sting held the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from July 7, 1990 to January 11, 1991. While Rock (The Ultimate Warrior) held the WWF Championship from

April 1, 1990 to January 19, 1991.

The Hollywood Blondes? As a team they werent seen as main event stars, but years after they split up, Stunning Steve went on to become Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Brian Pillman did well enough too, becoming a member of the Four Horsemen in WCW and later the Hart Foundation in WWF.

What about Jack and Jerry Briscoe or Dory Jr Terry Funk? Both were World Champions for the NWA.

What about the Thrillseekers of Chris Jericho and Lance Storm? Jericho won nearly all the championship belts in WWE and Lance Storm held all of the mid-card belts (TV, US, Cruiserweight) of WCW at the same time.

What about Dick Murdoch Dusty Rhodes? They started out as a wild tough guy cowboy gimmick then went on to win single titles in the NWA.

What about Gino Hernandez Tully Blandard? I believe they started out in the Houston territory and did a blood feud there. Gino went on to World Class in Dallas to be a top star for the promotion which is a miracle since it was basically built around the Von Erich boys. Tully went on to WCW to have one of the greatest grudge matches ever against Magnum TA.

honestly thats a hard one because more tag teams have a member fall into the darkness while one goes to shine i think if i had to pick one while being pressed it would have to be Evolution. it gave birth Orton and Batista. H was already a big name as well as Flair
