Its laying off the juice for a while and allowing your body to naturally build muscle.

To drop weight to be allowed to wrestle in your preferred weight class. Maybe less competition or easier competition. You just loose weight however you can.

It is an amatuer wrestling term to stay in or go to a lower weight class. Our high school used it a lot because some of our state wrestlers would have more opponents if they were 5 pounds lighter.
