Default Which WrestleMania had the most Overrated Match?

Pick any WM with any match.

I pick WM XXIV: Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels.

I watched this the other day, and I didn't really want to finish it because I could've done something better (like skip chapter to watch Edge's and Undertaker's entrance + match). TBH I think this match was one of HBK's worst, although *he* still put on a good effort. I don't know why people are blind to the fact that Flair put on a bad performance, that match deserved not 10 but maybe 7/10 stars.

What are your choices?

(It doesn't matter if you disagree, as long as you state your point of why you think so).

Tony: How would that make him (Matt) overrated in his match? The match was Underrated because the Undertaker vs HBK overshadows everything else that happened.

Clown: I smell a HBK Mark who chooses the MOTY, and no more WWE MOTY's lol

A big part of that match was the atmosphere.

Any time someone hit a big move the crowd was like HOLY MOTHER OF GOD IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN GOODBYE RIC FLAIR, and when he kicked out the crowd was like OHHH THANK YOU JESUS CHRIST.

The ability to work an audience equals success.

But the match itself wasn't bad at all. 7/10 easily. Not bad considering at the time their combined age was about 100.

My choice would have to be The Rock vs Austin at WM 17. I think it was great, and I marked out when I watched it live in 2001, but looking back, it was just a bunch of stealing finishers and chair shots.

I'd hate to say it but WM 3: Hulk and Andre. Take the body slam out of the match. Exactly!

I'd rather watch Wesley and Fezzik.

***Tony, Hardy's WM Match was awesome, there were no cheating because it was extreme rules, not sure what you were watching, but they had the second best match on the card. The Twist of Fate in the chair was one of the most devastating finishers I'd ever seen.

The reason why you wanted that match to end eas because you were really excited for the Edge vs. Undertaker match. If you hadn't had known that match was at that WM you woud enjoyed that match way more. I think that match was so good and emotional and when HBK mouthed '' I love you '', I couldn't believe Flair was gone. The most overrated match ever was Randy Orton vs Triple H at WM25. People said it was bad but I think it was worse that sh*t!

Can't agree more. And WM 22 also, Edge vs Foley was second most underrated WM match after Edge vs Taker at WM 24, being the match of the night. Why Vince vs HBK was picked as MOTY instead of Edge vs Foley or Taker vs Angle will always be beyond my deepest knowledge.

Umaga w/Mr McMahon vs Bobby Lashley w/Donald Trump: Hair vs Hair match at Wrestlemania 23 with Stone cold Steve Austin as Special Guest Referee.

I think this match was really overrated because everyone knew who was going to win and that Stone Cold would turn on Mr McMahon and reward the victory to Trump.

I think this match was overrated and was one of my least favorite matches ever at Wrestlemania.

I would say the most overrated Wrestlemania match is Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy from Wrestlemania 25.It was a good match and storyline, but a few months after the match, Matt Hardy being a heel got very dull and boring. All he was, was a bunch of cheating and under handed tactics.

If you ask me, WWE may have been trying to make Matt Hardy a heel so they could replace Edge with Matt on Smackdown. But, WWE realized that fans didn't enjoy Matt as a heel, so they let Jeff and Matt Hardy reunite on Smackdown before they totally screwed Matt over.
