Default How come WWE/ TNA Censors Wrestlers, But Not The Audience?

For example, on ECW One Night Stand, Balls Mahoney falls and yells Oh Sh*t! and it beeps it out...but when fans yell SHUT THE F*CK UP and HOLY SH*T it doesn't beep anything out? also in TNA when the fans chant A**HOLE its not blocked but when Anderson says it, it is. Why is that?

Because you cannot control what a crowd says but you can control what your employee says. The wrestlers aren't aloud to say those words on television. However, notice it was on a PPV, I don't know if they would censor them if it was on live tv or not or on television they might censor certain things from the audience.

I'm not sure how you can beep out an entire audience. With the way the fans are in the audience, the entire show would be silent because you can always hear somebody yelling something profane.

Censoring a crowd is very hard to do unless you're pre-taped like Smackdown! or iMPACT!, but even in those regards, TNA and WWE aren't legally liable for their crowd. This can be used as a legal loophole and exploited like crazy. TNA's done quite a bit of that lately since the EV 2.0 thing started up. In regards to Anderson, TNA could take away fan signs and dub over the audience, but in not doing so they've presented themselves as an alternative to the Big Brother vise grip that is Vince McMahon's WWE. WWE will actually have people go through crowds and tear up fan signs or threaten ejection over t-shirts that depict something they don't want shown on their program, and in a way that's very smart for a company like the WWE because it keeps the opposition down. That's why you'll never see a TNA shirt or sign on Smackdown or Raw, or an ROH banner.
