Default This is an important wrestling question?

Is it too late for me to train in wrestling if I am 17.5 years old? I know I won't have a chance in WWE or TNA ( perhaps ), but do you think there would be a place for me in a decent roster..?? what do you think? could you name some other wrestling companies??

No. It's too late. At 17 1/2 you're already over the hill.

The WWE, TNA - any of them all have predetermined outcomes. That's why you never see gambling on Pro wrestling in Vegas or any other gambling city.

How do you think a midget like Rey Mysterio can topple a giant like Kane? It's all prearranged. I watch it for a cheap laugh...very cheap.

Pump your body full of steroids go for it.

Do you play other sports such as Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey or Soccer? Most Professional Wrestlers played other sports. Do you do any Combat Sports suc as Judo, Karate, Ju Jitsu, Muay Thai, Free-Style Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling? Many professional wrestlers have some background in combat sports. If you live in the United States or Canada there should be Independent Wrestling Promotions near you unless you live in Alaska. Alaska is so big, you would probably have to travel 700 miles to the nearest wrestling show. If you live in some other country, there should still be Professional Wreslting Promotions there. You just need to look them up.

Well first of all, it's probably important if you have a background of being involved in some kind of sport whether that be football or karate. If you can be dedicated to being in pro wrestling, join a well known local wrestling school and prepare for intense workouts and learn the mind tricks behind professional wrestling. A good school to train in is the ROH or Chikara wrestling school, quality training for a good price. If you can stick to hard @ss workouts and take bumps within the next few years, you could be good to be on small events for low cash.

Then after all that, it's pretty much a gamble. If you look superhuman, tan, and 6'4, you be lucky to be scouted by FCW, if you can build your name up from small shows, it's possible to wrestle in ROH, PWG, and Chikara... if you're that impressive, TNA could give a shot
