What kind of toll do you think wrestling could take on my body?

No matter what you will play a powerhouse type character. Most likely promoters will expect you to do some moves that the other wrestler will have to sell. Say if you and I were in a match, me being 5'6 and you being 6'8. The typical stereotypical product of the match would be me trying to knock you off your feet and have me fall back, then you stomp on me and me sell the move. I would say beside getting landed on from the top rope, the toll of wrestling on your body wouldn't be as harmful as someone smaller.

Well let's see you would have bad knees after a year and maybe some back issues....but then again if you are just a tall fat bastard with no talent you wouldn't last 10 minutes in wrestling school.

But then again guys like Abdullah the Butcher and Viscera had respectable careers in the business.

Depends on your style. Wrestle conservatively, with an emphasis on storytelling, timing and presence instead of trying to cover the ring every single move, strengthen your tendons instead of just your muscles, work on cardio and breathing, so you're not taken past your limits and preparing yourself for a heart attack...

But that's only keeping your own body from hurting you. There's still the grind of an actual wrestling career, and all it takes is someone else's mistake to make bad things happen. Boots can get caught on flesh and tear, razor blades can cut too deep...

Basically, it comes down to: expect to be hurt. If you can't handle pain, stay far away. If you don't have a sense of timing, stay far away before you break yourself or someone else.
