Default Will Chris Benoit stay erased from WWE forever?

Last night I had a creepy dream, and Chris Benoit came back to SmackDown! and all I can remember the announcers saying is the word murderer over and over again, weird huh?

He was shown in the new Elimination Chamber DVD, but his name wasn't mentioned.

I hope not. Its not fair to erase all the great contributions he made because of one terrible act. I'm not saying his act wasn't heinous but he doesssn't deserve to be completely erased.

Because of what he did, he will most likely be ignored for a looooooooooooong time.

Since the WWE is in the PG era, what example is that showing? Not a very good one at all.

i dont think so, he will probably be put back as the years go by. like hes in the new chamber dvd, and in the promo that showed edge winning MITB before the MITB ppv they showed benoit from the back in it.

Sooner or later, they may bring back matches he's been in, but I don't think he will EVER find a place in the Hall of Fame, it's sad he did what he did, because not only did he extinguish 3 lives, but he also irrepairably damaged the careers of many good stars. William Regal and Chris Benoit match in the mid 80's I believe, was one of the BEST matches of all time, not a single waste movement for the whole match, it was like poetry in motion, but you'll not see it again for a LONG time, or when he won the title at Wrestlemania 20 and him and Eddie shared a big hug, things like that, he's tarnished his own legacy and the legacy of many others.

Weird dream man.. But to answer your question I think he has already been erased. There has been absolutely NO mention of his name on a live show ever since the tragedy that took place those years back. I totally disagree with this though, he was a magnificent entertainer and should be kept in the books as one of the best technical wrestlers of all time. Surely his act was disgusting but we're all talking about his in-ring abilities, not the stupidity that took place outside the squared-circle. He should be acknowledged to say the least, at least earn a spot in the WWE Alumni section and have a DVD released based on his best matches and the loss of him and his family, spoken by on-scene investigators etc. I'm sure the WWE would make plenty of money off that.
