When: After he was drafted to Raw in 2005

Why: Because he was becoming more popular and the WWE wanted to bring up a new character for him when he was moved to Raw.

When they started calling his finisher the Attitude Adjustment instead of the FU. ( Probably wasnt really around that time just trying to make a point. He dropped his whole gimmick when WWE went PG)

He stopped doing it in 2006 when he won the WWE title from Edge at Unforgiven. All he did was hold up his belt. Then he was injured by Randy Orton. When he returned at Royal Rumble 2008, he did that taunt for one night only but ever since then, he did the Superman or OK taunt. The reason why he stopped doing the Word Life taunt is because he stopped rapping and WWE thought this taunt was too of a rapping style. His current taunt seems like a Superman taunt to me and the WWE.

BQ: That's BEASTLY dude!

As soon as the WWE went PG, he stopped using the Gangster gimmick.

I believe it was around 2006. I'm pretty sure it was not 2005 when he was drafted on Raw, because he did a battle of the bands with Chris Jericho where he was still a rapper. But 2006, because thats when the movie, The Marines came out. When that movie was coming out, Cena took on a new gimmick similar to his role in the film. He did the salute and acted very military-like. He even stopped pumping his shoes when he went for the FU. Afterwards, there was never a true sign of the old Cena after the film's release. His new taunt was Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect, Which is the total opposite of his rebellious rapper theme. So I would say around 2006.

BQ: At first glance, it wasn't as impressive, as all I saw was the Nexus sign, but when I saw the bigger one. It was pretty awesome. I notice you put the crowd and I believe Justin Gabriel fading in the back ground. Thats pretty cool. Good job. Its only a shame you can't see it on your avatar, but yeah. I like it.

Whats up N-6 brother. He dropped it when he got drafted to Raw. They wanted to give him a new character so he dropped the old catchphrase.

BQ: Yeah its cool.
