He gained so much fame in both promotions with IC titles ad many feuds with all the greats and current hall of famers in the WWF.

However in WCW he gained just about every title their and feuded with all the top stars their.

Amount of titles has nothing to do with it.Its the quality of the opponents he wrestled against.

I have no idea who this person is but to be honest it really doesn't matter because the whole thing is scripted

Correct me if I'm incorrect, but he won more world titles in WCW than he did in WWF, right?

Therefore, he did better in WCW.

As far as popularity (and $$$) it was the WWF, but he did have more titles in the WCW.

Titles don't equal fame and money...ask Sheamus...but the quality of rivalries he had in WCW were better. His little run with DX was a late push. I sa WCW, not because of his titles, but because of his great feuds with Ricky Streamboat and Sting.

Match quality was better in WCW as you could witness his greatness in Iron Man matches against Ricky Steamboat. I bet if Rick Rude didn't get hurt he could of been a long term World Champion.

He got to shine more in WCW, though his name became big when in the WWF.

IC title in the WWF, and challenged for the WWF World Title a couple of times...had a good feud with Jake Roberts...but not much else happened for Rude in the WWF though he was one of the big names in the company.

In WCW, he did much better. Great feud with Ricky Steamboat, was the head wrestler of Paul E. Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance, won the US Title, held the NWA Title during the time WCW had both that title and the WCW World Title.

He was one of the very top guys in WCW, with Sting, Big Van Vader, Lex Luger and Ricky Steamboat.

At Starrcade in 1992, he was scheduled to face Ron Simmons for the WCW World Title. But he had a back injury that took him out of the main event for that match. If he wasn't injured, he would've won the WCW World Title and would've been the top guy in WCW, probably together with Sting and Big Van Vader heading into 1993. He would've helped carry the company as champion during that time if not for that injury.

I'd say his run in WCW was a lot better as far as success and match/feud quality goes. But he made his name big while in the WWF.
