Default What wrestling family has had the most impact on professional wrestling?

Not in just numbers of members in family, but in talent, making history, creating innovative wrestling moves etc.

The McMahon family.

Starting with Jess McMahon all the way to Vincent K.The McMahon clan changed the face of wrestling each and every generation for better or worst. They had the biggest and most impact of all.

As much as i hate to say it, The McMahons, maybe not for talent but for their impact on wrestling it would have to be them.

The McMahon family, because even before Vince, it started. They're in their fourth generation now, I think. Love them or hate them, they have recruited the talent, built on and expanded wrestling from territories to national, then international, and they have the final say on everything in the organization.

Vince might not create the moves - he assigns that to the wrestlers - but he does instruct them and delegates duties. The RKO, for example, was a move that was born out of Vince telling Randy he wanted to see a finisher from him by the end of the workday, and he wanted it named. That's pressure. That's why it got Randy's initials as its name, and yet it fits. Vince approved it.

Many families have had impact. Names like Gagne go way back to impact. Sammartino. But the one who changed it all..the name is McMahon.

The Hart Dynasty, The Wild Samons, I would say McMahons but besides Triple H (and hes not even related to them) they don't have lots of in ring talent.

The McMahons. Without them there wouldn't have been a WWE.

Whoa Chicago took my answer, I thought I had an answer nobody would get.

The McMahons have come a long way, from original Vince McMahon creating WWWF to Vince McMahon, jr, on commentary with Macho Man at WrestleMania. Then when Vince goes to the top, Shane is backstage at WrestleMania's hanging out with Andre the Giant and Million Dollar Man.

Then, in more recent history, they start feuding! Shane w/ Linda vs. Vince w/ Stephanie in hardcore matches.

Plus, they also tormented other wrestlers and wrestling stables, ranging from The Undertaker, Kane, The Rock, Big Show, Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan, DX and of course, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Aside from the kayfabe events, Vince McMahon bought out WCW, his own competition, and could broadcast WCW on his own show. On that note, he also owned all of the wrestlers of WCW. He was the creation of the great entertainer Dwayne Johnson, and many other wrestlers.
