commentating was his best work. The mouth from the south

If you look back to any of the wrestlemanias he did or summerslams or sat main events his feuds and intelligence with insulting humor was priceless.

He was a damn good wrestler as well, alomst took hogans place if it were not for him persuing an acting career.

Commentator. Anything that came out of his mouth during a broadcast, especially when it came to saying something outlandish to support a heel, was solid gold.

He was a very good wrestler, but i always liked him better as a commentator. you never knew what he was going to say. as a politician i think in was only so so.

Commentator. Because he brought something new to the role of heel announcer. Outside of Bobby Heenan, all heel announcers were just guys who argued with the face announcers, automatically rooting for heels just because they were heels and being blind to their illegal shenanigans. Heenan, of course, was hilarious as the lying weasel heel announcer and in a class by himself.

Jesse, though, didn't insult the fans by being blind to heels cheating; he readily admitted to their cheating and made good and even logical arguments why the cheating was justified. Jesse put over the faces (in his own unique left-handed way) and was fair about pointing out the faces' good points. He was brutal about their flaws, though. Jesse brought intelligence and humor to the heel announcer role absent in pretty much the rest of them except for Heenan.

As a wrestler, he was pretty much just a generic muscleman brawler, more noted for his gimmick, costumes, promos, and charisma.

I'm not real familiar with his political accomplishments, other than he ran for governor and actually won. California is a LONG way from Minnesota and what happens in Minnesota doesn't affect California.
