...streak?BQ? Some say yes, and that Goldberg was losing steam. Others argue no, that Goldberg was still very popular and people wanted to see the streak continue. Thoughts?

BQ: Is is true Goldberg had some unknown, non talked about losses at some WCW house shows very early in his run?

I think it was overdue. He was starting to lose steam long b4 the Kevin Nash match. People were calling him oldberg as his streak was getting old.

Captain Obvious says NO.

And the 10-20 victories over guys like Jerry Thunderfoot Flynn shouldn't count.....neither should the 30 or so wins over Meng from house shows.

I don't think that it was because Goldberg was very over with the fans and was one of the very few homegrown superstars that WCW had.

BQ: According to the book The Death of WCW it is.
