Batista fighting for Strikeforce MMA.... Really... What are your thoughts?

Im not going to knock the guy for trying something new but he is 41 and in MMA thats past prime for fighters who have been competing there whole lives(Randy Couture and Dan Severn withstanding). Plus Unlike Lashley and Lesner who both started out in small promotions. Strikeforce is the 2nd biggest MMA company in the states. Not to mention the two guys that run SF hw division Alisstar Overreem and Fedor Emeliananko. Both of which will destroy Batista within the 1st minute of the fight. Dont care how strong he is or how long he has been training. Either of those two will wreck him. Along with Brett Rogers, Febricio Werdum and Andre Arlovski the division is to top heavy for him to make an impact.

Batista is up there in age, but he'll do good. The man is to big to not do good in MMA. He won't make it as far as Lesnar did, cause he's not as athletic. But he'll do good. I see him back in WWE in a year are a little less

Yes I agree with you, Batista will get destroyed. Anyone who thinks he will win oviously dosnt know mma.

He's 41 but he's in phenomenal shape. I've seen videos of him training in MMA so i think he might be able to hold his own. He is more of a striker than a grappler so maybe he can use the ground and pound but i think he will be the next Kimbo if you know what i mean.

Hes going to get killed, MMA isn't about just being big and strong. Its about having skills in mma. A small person like GSP can beat up people like Lyoto Machida and Brock Lesnar, and they will admit it. He won't win a single math unless its from a quick flash KO.
