Default Who thinks WWE should have did this with the streak of Undertaker at WM?

WM 22-Kurt Angle vs Undertaker-This would have been better than the Mark Henry stuff. It would have sold more too.

WM 23-Chris Benoit vs Undertaker-I think WWE would have eventually done this if he hadnt killed himself and his family. They could have had Benoit win the 2007 Royal Rumble,Undertaker beat Batista at Royal Rumble for the WHC,then set up CB vs UT at WM 23.

What are your thoughts?

I never said Batista was a bad choice. But,at the time, there was better choices. At that time, they had Chris Benoit,Booker T,Jeff Hardy, and some more bigger names.Chris Benoit is dead,WWE lost that opportunity and Kurt Angle is gone to TNA,he may return to WWE,but its not known for a fact,so WWE lost 2 big matches they could have had.

Yea, I cant figure out why WWE would think that we could believe that Batista or Mark Henry could somehow beat The Undertaker's streak, they should have had hall of famers like you said Kurt Angle, Chis Benoit, Chris Jericho or someone of that nature.

First of all, WM 23 happened before the Chris Benoit double-murder suicide. And I can tell because i remember Benoit vs. MVP for the US Title at WM 23. So yeah WWE could have put Benoit and Undertaker at WM but they didn't for unknown reasons. And the reason Benoit didn't win the RR 07 was because Undertaker won it, but it would have been cool if Benoit beat batista for the world title at RR.

I don't why in the hell they choose Mark Henry to face Undertaker, he's not even a main eventer, it was so obvious that he would loose to Taker.

As for Wrestlemania 22, it was a shame really. Three months before Wrestlemania 22, the opponents to face The Undertaker came down to Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and the returning Mark Henry. Vince believed, the returning Mark Henry, billed as The World's Strongest Man, would be able to pull out a classic with The Undertaker and creating another big man main eventer after Batista, especially after such main event push. Because as we knew it, Vince has always been keen on pushing big man wrestlers mainly because of his obsession to eclipse his father's success of Andre The Giant. I have even heard that in backstage, before the match, Vince was so sure Undertaker could carry Mark Henry to a legendary match.

But it turned out that, after all the hype the fans didn't buy Henry as a threat at all. To make the matter even worse, Taker vs Henry at WM 22 flopped because Taker was unable to carry Henry throughout the match, mainly because of Henry's deadweight with no charisma and slow-paced work, thus creating another horrible match for The Streak, which is easily the worst casket match ever. The only good thing from this disaster is Vince finally stopped giving The Undertaker mid-carder giants for him to face at Wrestlemania after 14 long years and five failures in 5 different Wrestlemanias (Giant Gonzales at WM 9, King Kong Bundy at WM 11, Big Boss Man at WM 15, Big Show A-Train at WM 19, and Mark Henry himself at WM 22), because after 14 long a** years he finally realized Taker couldn't pull out a classic with talentless giants. As an Undertaker fan, the reason why Giant Gonzales, King Kong Bundy, Big Boss Man, Big Show, A-Train, and Mark Henry were chosen to face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania instead of Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, The Rock, Kurt Angle, Mankind, or Chris Benoit is beyond my deepest knowledge.

As for Wrestlemania 23, u need to remember WWE hyped and booked Batista to be bigger than Booker T and Jeff Hardy. He was like the John Cena on Smackdown! at 2005-2007. Nothing was wrong with him being chosen as Undertaker's opponent. He is a credible name and is a very successful superstar, more than Booker T and Jeff Hardy in WWE. And need I remind u the match was the only classic Batista has ever got in his career? This feud started when the Undertaker won the Royal Rumble in January. With his guaranteed WrestleMania title shot, he chose to go after the World Heavyweight Championship held by Batista. Prior to their WrestleMania 23 battle, each man took some cheap shots at the other but went into the match with the fans behind them. This was an extremely good match, one of the best of the year. It was very exciting and both men performed very well. Batista speared Undertaker as soon as the bell rang, and the match got underway. For the first half, the two mostly battled out of the ring, with Undertaker occasionally running in and out of the ring quickly to break and restart the 10 count. It featured many high spots, including Undertaker hitting the Chokeslam and Last Ride and still failing to win the match, and Batista hitting a running Powerslam through the announcer?s table. Late in the match Batista hits a Spinebuster and Batista Bomb but Undertaker somehow kicks out. More back and forth action follows, Undertaker wins the match, the championship, and a 15-0 WrestleMania record after a Tombstone Piledriver. Classic battle. Batista is definitely worthy enough to be included in The Streak, no question about it. And this is also regarded as Batista?s best match ever in WWE. Taker Booker T got so many matches before but none of them were special. Jeff was viewed as nothing more than a mid-carder by WWE, so his name wouldn't be so credible compared to Orton, Edge, Triple H, Flair, or Shawn Michaels. So, Batista was the perfect choice for Wrestlemania 23. A big name, a credible main eventer, a great match.

They did Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker at the pay-per-view before WrestleMania 22, so why would they do a rematch? I agree with Chris Benoit vs. The Undertaker for WrestleMania 23 but unfortunately that can?t happen anymore.
